Love all the penny's, good food, great people, great ribeye dinner, it's a small mom and pops place, but so worth the drive...

Great hot coffee & penny tour from the nicest bartender. Worth the stop, lots of history and a few laughs... all the signs are a must read. We will be back

I had the Baby Back Ribs that was very good, my wife and friend had the Rib Eye. Our other friend had the Catfish. All in all we all had a good dinner. The restaurant is like an old diner and the bar that is located in the back is loaded with pennies. (Floor, walls, Bar and pool table.) It... More

Down the street from a solar project I used to work on. This old place is full of one cent character. Pennies everywhere: the walls, ceiling and even the floors - everywhere. This is a must-see establishment en route. Take the visit as a bypass from I5 (Buttonwillow) to hwy 46 (hwy 33 at Blackwell Corner).

I had learned about this establishment from a WEBsite. My wife & I drove out-of-the-way to visit so we could see the Penny Bar. Good golly! We had never seen anything like it. Pennies on the floor, on the walls, on the counters, on the bar (of course), and even pennies on the restroom doors. The bartender was very friendly... More

I can't tell you how many times I've eaten here over the years but I can tell you I've never been disappointed. For the most part I've always eaten the Rib eye which is their specialty. Cleanliness has NEVER been an issue. Wait time has NEVER been an issue. The atmosphere is great and typical of a very small town... More

When we arrived we walked in through the bar, the patio area was infested with flies. Being outside I just brushed it off. The bar (penny idea) was awesome don't get me wrong, however when we sat down the restraunt it was also infested with flies. We ordered our food and after waiting over an hour, ( maybe two other... This is the most fun, delicious, and interesting location in Western Kern County. The local oilfield workers know whats up and this place is packed for lunch everyday serving a delicious New York steak sandwhich with western flavor and interesting decor. Millions of pennys adorn the bar in every location and is a fun place to linger and look with... More
