First time having breakfast at a Black Bear Diner. We ordered the patty sausage and the ScramBowl and both were very good. The plates came out pretty quick considering it was very busy on Thanksgiving. Portion size was excellent so expect to take a portion of it home with you.

Met my brother and family for a lunner at about 2:30. While respectably busy no problem getting a table. While most had lunch, I had a breakfast with poached eggs, ham, muffin and fruit. The muffin had butter on it, which I didn't want though every thing else was good especially the ham and fruit; the eggs were perfectly poached... More

Wow! Servings are large and the food is very tasty. Had an early morning breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice, nice thick bacon and I had the pancakes and the husband had the omelet and we loved every morsel. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Turnover for tables are quick so there really isn't that long of a wait.

We went for a Monday night dinner to Black Bear Diner. Monday Night Football was on the TV. Halloween decorations were up. Our server was nice and also good. I had chicken and waffles which was tasty. My husband likes their fish tacos. We both had ice tea.

This restaurant was conveniently located down the road from the Embassy Suites where we stayed. Our group had ordered the prime rib, fried chicken, and french dip entrees. The restaurant was not that busy at 9pm on a Saturday night so our food came out quick. Great service was provided by the waiter as well.

I ordered the Tri-tip dinner 'cos it was supposed to be "lighter." It came with a salad or soup, a biscuit, three pieces of tri-tips, vege and mashed potato. Not exactly my idea of a light meal. Value-wise, they do give you a lot of food for the price they charge. Maybe too much.

This is good old American diner. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and the ham is very juicy. Potato is welled seasoned. However paccake is a little on the dry side. Service was ok.

My wife and I had breakfast at the diner. The food was very good. If you leave there hungry, something must be wrong. You get heaping's of food. We have had to take a doggy bag every time. Our service, and servers were great. Will visit again.
