Since there’s both hot pot and grill, therefore, for the meats, there are marinated and “shabu shabu” (thinly-sliced, non-marinated) pork, beef and chicken. As Hot Pot City Milpitas is a Taiwanese Hot Pot Buffet joint, you can also expect to find “exotic” parts such as pig’s stomach, intestines and even pig’s blood (which one Chinese lady was so excited to... This is our usual hot place to go. We went there because they got super yummy marinated meats. The selection was not as exciting as before, but still good if you like the combination of grilling as well as hot pot.

This place is in a strip mall of sorts. Do not judge this place by the interior. The setup for your raw food is buffet style and the pot and grill is in the middle of your table. The staff are very friendly and prices reasonable. There is a great variety of meets, noodles and veggies for every taste.

Hot Pot City used to be better. Seems as though the overall quality has diminished and they've gotten stingier in the shaved ice buffet line. That part is probably the best part of the meal and why we still decided to come. My mom, cousin and his friend were dissatisfied and thought the meal was fair. My husband and I... More

My godson and I went there a couple of days ago. It was easy to find and is quite large. They can have smal and large parties. One chooses a broth and the cooking style is TAiwanese so there is a grill that surrounds you hot pot. The whole thing is gas powered and the servers lit it right up... More

This is a all you can eat hotpot and Korean BBQ buffet. The price is reasonable. Whenyou go arrive, they'll ask you the type of soap base you like. You have to pay extra for the soup base, otherwise you only get plain water. The soup base is $5 to $10 extra. You can get a bag of soap base... More

This is a buffet-style restaurant where you cook / grill your own food. Each table has a grill, exhaust fan, a pot of soup and a pan to grill your meats. Lots of pork, beef, chicken, and lamb to grill on the pan - very tasty. There were other items to cook in the pot of soup such as vegetables,... More
