This is a GREAT Mexican restaurant! Casual, chips and salsa help yourself, specials of the day like all kinds of fishes, prawn, scallops etc. taco's. My husband and I split Red Snapper Taco's with fresh mango salsa and got a side order of rice and beans. Delicious meal and the waitresses are very helpful and fun!

There is a salsa and freshly-made chips bar that has the best green hot salsa I've ever had. A fish taco here is a feast. You probably can't eat more than one or two. The carnitas is an unbelievable great. The last time we ate at Taco Temple everyone around us had to take a look at the amazing place... More

We asked a Morro Bay local where to find the best Mexican food in the area and she didn't hesitate to recommend Taco Temple. It's on Main Street, just off Hwy 1. Pretty simple decor, with surfboard art on the ceiling. You are seated when you arrive, and invited to help yourself to chips and salsa at a salsa bar.... More

Ordered the baja "tacos" here... received four suspiciously identical breaded fish fillets arranged over a large pile of salad that sat atop two cold tortillas. Supposedly these were to be fish tacos, but it was Van de Kamp's frozen fish fillets on top of half a bag of Ready Pac salad over two Mission tortillas. For $15. What a joke.... More

Everything is freshly prepared, food generally very spicy. It's more of the California variety: lots of veggies, not much meat. Portions are good. I think they are over-priced. There are other mexican places in MB that are a better value. Service is so-so and the wait for food can be significant, especially on the weekends. Lots of take out business.

Great place to eat their carrot cake is amazing I would try their tacos or burritos and then top it off with desert giant carrot cake.

What a find! Everything is so fresh and tasty! Specials change often. Great chips and salsa bar. Open faced tacos start at $7. Humongous burritos that I challenge you to finish. Friendly staff. You can expect to wait to get in. Patio service is available, too.

The veggie tacos were amazing. We got two for $15 "to go". They boxed them individually and they were big. They were also a big a pile of deliciousness. A soft corn tortilla topped with yummy rice, black beans, and a multitude veggies and sauce. The salsa bar is included when you dine in or get take out and was... More

Ate here yesterday after an absence of 3 years, due to a decline in food quality, service and an uptick in prices. However, we tried it again and all seems to have been righted. Don't know if there is new management, but the food is back to hearty and GENEROUS servings of well prepared and presented Cal-Mex coastal food. Great... More

The food has changed with the new ownership. This is not the place to go. Nothing special any longer just average. My burrito was bland. My wife's calamari taco had poorly cooked fish. Food looked good but didn't taste good. The salsa bar needs more spicy carrots.
