My friend and I had quesadillas (one chicken; the other shrimp) and they were good and plentiful. A side of black beans to round it out. Their margaritas as top notch and for fun we tried their fried ice cream. All great food and friendly staff. You can eat inside with lots of elbow room or outside under umbrellas. All... More

Worked late and showed up here just before closing. That's usually asking for trouble but not here. The waiter was very friendly and never rushed us at all. There's a good selection of Mexican beers and the refills came without a wait. My Burrito was delicious and i brought home enough to be stuffed for lunch the next day. That... More

Lovely outdoor seating by a stream, good food, and caring owner... I'll be back! I had the fish tacos on my first visit, they were delicious. My friend gave me a bite of her chili verde and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I went back and ordered it for myself. I asked our server for some hot sauce... More

The entire menu is delicious. We stopped back many times during our stay in Murphys. Highly recommend a table side seat next to the stream in back which is well shaded and peaceful. Everything is scratch prepared, Guacamole, Salsa, Chips (served hot just done). There is a wide assortment of offerings, Traditional Burritos, Tostados, Tamales, Enchiladas all uniformly good. I... There are other Mexican restaurants between Angels and Arnold, but this is our favorite - especially in the summer. We enjoy eating near the creek on the patio. My favorite meal is the carniras tacos. Very tasty.

I had Carnitas which were served with refritos and rice. Strictly average. Guacamole was fresh but lacking in flavor. Beer selection was good. Others in my party had chicken mole (great mole); steak burrito; carnitas taco. My wife enjoyed her taco and the rest of us were ambivalent. The staff was very nice. Price $15 average without alcohol per lunch... More

Been there several times. Good menu variety, well executed. Excellent, thoughtful service -- even when busy.

The only reason for the 3 stars is for the red sauce and salsa, which had a great taste and flavor But overall, the restaurant was mediocre. The drinks tasted like they were a little watered down. The steak was unseasoned and a little chewey.

All in all I would say the food here is very good, but kind of Gringo for my tastes. Everything was very mildly seasoned, and I love stuff to be muy picante. Not here. But I realize most people do not have my fondness for the firey stuff... you will probably enjoy it here. The food is fresh and attractively... More

Our group of 16 came in and they were able to accommodate us very quickly. They did a great job keeping up with the orders in a timely manner. I was pleasantly surprised.
