I need to preface this with the fact that my Filipino wife is a Classically Trained and Certified French Chef...so she has taught me...both a blessing and a curse. My experience at Tita's Kitchenette was SO bad I needed to finish this trip to San Diego off with something better. Goldilocks did not fail to deliver the perfect experience for... More

It was a total joy for me to go to this restaurant! There are so many selections of Filipino foods and deserts to choose from and especially the feeling of being with my fellow peeps! I've never seen such a big contingent of Filipino folks in one area along with Seafood City nearby and it was just straight awesome! This... More

To my college son insistence we went to Goldilocks to eat dinner for he crave for Palabok. We offered Lechon kawali and the fresh lumpia and Halo halo. We were not disappointed. Flavor so rich and true to the Filipino tastebuds. A very busy place but was able to accommodate us ( a company of 5 people) in less than... More

The place to go to when you crave Filipino food. Alltime favorites like Crispy Pata, Kare-kare, Halo-halo, to name a few. This restaurant is perfect for get togethers,

If you're looking for classical Filipino fare, this is a great place to start. Billed as a bakeshop, looks like a bakeshop, but part of it is all serious restaurant. Foods and tastes you may never have experienced before. In cluding banan ketchup. Sinigang special with bangus belly. Crispy binagoongan with eggplant. Tortang talong. Very sweet avocado shake with crushed... More

We arrived at 3 PM at the bakery & restaurant that is an icon in the Philippines. It was busy & almost impossible to find a parking spot. The place was clean. All the tables in the shady part of the restaurant were taken, so we just bought some pastries and ate elsewhere.

In Dallas, Tx I really have not found any Filipino cuisine places, so when I can to San Diego I was excited that there were a lot of restaurants to try. My family and I tried this place and ordered quite a few dishes which I do not remember most of the names. The staple dish is pretty much Chicken... More

You would think that this restaurant is very popular in the Philippines. We ordered a few dishes that were recommended by friends who said it sa very good. Palaboc: the sauce tasted like it came from a packet and the toppings i.e eggs, green onions etc tasted old and dry. The noodles was not cooked all the way and some... More

This is a good place if you want a better ambiance of Filipino food dining but the food is average. It's not too bad but a better place to go if you want parking. There's good desserts and baked goods but the customer service can use some help. The halo halo is not as good.

Being a meat and potatoes guy, I can't say there's really a lot to choose from on the menu for me. But my Pinay fiancée likes the food and the service is very good. This is authentic Philippine cuisine with quality ingredients.
