The food was very good and it was a quiet evening so service was very attentive. The upscale atmosphere was very pleasant and quiet. As prices go it was a little on the high side.

Nice menu selections. Food is good. A bit pricey. Not a place I would go to regularly. Don't bring the kids. Romantic date night place.

I've gone here 3 or 4 times over the past several years when I'm staying at the Courtyard Marriott next door. Every time I find the menu limited and very expensive for what you get. Just having an entree, small salad and glass of wine is >$50. It's not worth the $ in my opinion considering what you get. There are much better options near by. There are very few customers there every time I walk by. Not sure how they stay in business.

A diamond in the ruff, Amazing food with quality and freshness you can taste. The prices are high if you are not use to eating at nicer restaurants. Well worth the money.

Ate here on a Wednesday night and it was not busy. service was very good and friendly. The Italian bread tasted like white American bread. To make it worse the 2/4 outside slices were dried out from being in the oven to warm. I had the pasta de la casa which is rigatoni with a cream tomato sauce and blue cheese with sausage. The rigatoni was cooked correct but the cream sauce and the blue cheese did not work together. The staff asked me if I wanted parmesan cheese on it which I thought was strange since the meal comes with blue cheese? I expected sausage slices or whole sausage and all it was a small amount of ground sausage where you couldn't taste what spice it had in it. Either the class or the wine were above room temperature and I had to let it cool down. At these prices the wine should be slightly below room temperature and served from a wine dispenser not uncorked indefinitely.. if you are in from out of town go to the sushi place across the street or a local Chinese restaurant.

The restaurant is not easily seen from the street. It is tucked away behind another building. The setting is quaint and the service is great. The menu is authentic Italian and very flavourful. Presentation is equally impressive. We come here for work functions and have never been disappointed. Desserts are delicious.

Excellent meal with good service. I had the linguini with seafood. The portion size was large, with an adequate amount of seafood, and delicious.

It is expensive. But you get what you pay for. I believe I had the best pasta of my life at this restaurant. Servers were awesome and very helpful. Loved the wine pairing they suggested. And the Dessert was just "Out of the World" - Warm chocolate cake with ice cream. Anyday if you want to treat yourself with some authentic Italian food, Do not forget to come here. I have lived in Fremont for many years and somehow never knew about this place.

We stopped in here for dinner after a day traveling to the west coast. Restaurant was right next to our hotel. Food was very good. Nice wine choices. Staff was friendly and attentive.

We were seated at a table right away with attitude. I asked for a glass of wine after a long day at work and a waiter did not come back for another 8 minutes. He was frantic and had the vibe of "WHAT DO YOU WANT"? We were given stale bread and again waited 15 minutes for a waiter to take our dinner order. For the prices they charge for wine and food-- this was ridiculous. The glass of red wine I ordered (mid price) tasted like it'd been opened last season. We should of walked out then.... I was given another glass of wine AGAIN with major attitude from foreign waiter. I've had much better Italian food at Il Porcino in Fremont and better wine for less $$. How this place stays open~~ I'll never know!! Do yourself a favor and drive 10 minutes to either Massimo's or Il Porcino. You won't be disappointed.

After landing in Oakland and driving to my hotel I was delighted to find this quiet Italian restaurant right next door. The ambiance is hip and modern with trendy furniture and good lighting. My cheerful server is related to the family that runs the place and it's obvious that this is family run owing to the attentive and prompt service, as well as the delicious and carefully prepared food. Note: beer and wine only. Menu is full on Italian plus a separate menu for steaks and chops. Trying my best to reduce my red meat intake I opted for the pasta. First I had a wonderful small Caesar salad that had just a bit too much dressing for my tastes. It did not ruin the salad and the croutons were still crispy. Then I had the Rigatoni with fennel sausage with tomato cream sauce and blue cheese. Yum! It was fresh and delicious. Bread was delivered upon my beer arriving. Very good bread! Water was refilled without asking. An excellent indication of outstanding attention. There is a bar area where singles can mingle as well as eat. I opted for a table which is my preference. No dessert for me but maybe a return trip since I'll be here for 4 days! Enjoy!

Very good service. They have good vegetarian options & they have a vegan & gluten free pasta option. It is a high end formal restaurant. The pastas are made on the spot. We have a vegetable risotto & garlic creme sauce gluten free pasta as we don't eat eggs & are vegetarian.

I had veal scallopini. It was good but really nothing special. The mixed veggies were overcooked. The dish also came with a nice sized portion of pasta. Service was great but almost too attentive.

This is truly a hidden gem. My husband and I go there frequently when we want a nice quiet dinner that we know will be amazing. Everyone one of the dishes we have tried has been amazing. My husband seems to be drawn to whatever the days special is an has never been disappointed. I love the Fettuccine Pollo di Pesto, its wonderful and I have a hard time ordering anything but will switch to the Rigatoni della Casa on occasion. The wine selection is good, prices reasonable, the owner and his wife charming and just a great place to relax and enjoy a well prepared meal.
