Nice place to visit after a day on the water, very relaxed atmosphere. View matches the food, the extras that are brought to the table are a nice touch.

Couple of night ago we were looking for a place to have dinner and someone recommended this place, normally I don't eat mexican at night, it's like cevichhe, if you go to Peru, all the ceviche places are closed at night. Anyway, we went to Sol and I was impressed with the quality of food and the service, both were... More

Great Atmosphere bar scean and music. Beef Carne Tocos taste burnt. The Beef Quesadia also tasted burnt. Fish Tacos ok, not great. Drinks are weak , after 3 Margaretas no real buzz.

We had planned to go to another restaurant tonight, which was highly rated on TA but it was closed for Halloween. So, we just stumbled across Sol, as we were driving by. We really enjoyed it. Our server was amazing; knowledgeable, accommodating, warm and friendly. My wife had the Chile Relleno, which he recommended and she loved it. I had... More

Though they didn't respond to my earlier reviews, it appears it may have taken it to heart as quite notably, the service was better, the food was way better, the staff was genuinely high-spirited and overall the experience was much much better than my last! On this note, I will go back and recommend…

Different than typical mexican food, Sol Cocina offers a big variety of well priced dinner options -from soups to a la carte innovative tacos, to whole grilled fish to full meals. The blackberry ginger margarita was delish! Free valet parking makes for an easy entrance. Definitely worth a return trip!

Inventive Baja-style flavor combinations in an an attractive harborside setting. Lots of energy, and lots of fun. The taco options are terrific. My wife and I have tried most of these during our many visits to Sol, and have never been disappointed. The vampiro is great, but so also is the veggie taco, which is surprisingly flavorful. I love ceviche,... More

We took our Mom to dinner for her birthday. The location was great for us as it was close to the airport, but still offered a gorgeous ocean view. The food was excellent as were the margarita choices and flavors. My Mother commented that hers just dissappeared! We had tasty shrimp cocktails as appetizers and a carnitas entree that was... More

Short and sweet. Visit number one, amazing food and amazing drinks. Must try... the guacamole with tequila! And the grilled corn. Our server seemed more interested in socializing with his friends at the restaurant. We wanted to give the restaurant a second try and see if it was a fluke. Turns out it was! We had an amazing server, Natalie,... More
