My daughter was returning from a business trip so I needed to find a restaurant where we could meet to return her dog that we had kept while she was gone. I found The Alley to be a good middle distance spot to come together...More
Positives: 1. Neighborhood ambience, very unlike the typical Newport Beach establishment restaurants; 2. Excellent prices ($20 for pecan-crusted trout; $17 for prime ribs on Thursday evenings only); 3. Intimate atmosphere -- only 14 tables in the restaurant, unless you are willing to dine outdoor in...More
This is an amazing restaurant for mimosa brunch and football. Whenever I visit Newport I always schedule a visit to the Alley. The food is amazing and the service couldn't be better.

I have driven by this place for years but for some reason never stopped in until now. Very surprised. The food, service and atmosphere were all very good and the prices were very fair. The server couldn't have been more helpful
