We had rented a beach home, just down from the bar. Our first day we went to take a walk and got to cabo , which was our first bar we came too, and was our last stop for the night. They offer extra large margaritas, for a small up charge. They were good, but a little weak for my... More

The restaurant is located b the beach and is always full of people! It's very beautiful but a bit loud with all the TV's at their highest volume! The beer and margaritas are great. The service is OK.

We ate there several months ago, and it wasn't a typical hole in the wall place, which was frankly what I was craving. However , this was more of a gourmet dive, if there is such a thing. The empanadas were delicious. If you are looking for a Mexican menu with a twist, I suggest you give this a try

Happy hour is like being on a New York subway, jammed. Definitely way short of help.Went in for dinner sat at a bar table took us a half hour for our drinks. At that point we forgot about dinner.

This place is for sure a peninsula classic - I used to live right on 35th street & everyone somewhat frequents this place. They have brunch until 2pm - bottomless mimosas but you have to buy an entree or some type of food. (One of my friends always says that unless you plan on drinking 4 mimosas minimum it's not... Super fun atmosphere with a perfect proximity to Newport Beach and the bike/walking path. Parking here totally sucks so get here early or plan on hiking in from where ever you got lucky enough to find a spot. That's how popular this side of Newport and Cabo's is. Very efficient serving staff. They have it done to a science. Fast... More
