A friend who lives in Santa Barbara told me about Rancho. I was staying in a hotel one exit south a day later, so I made Rancho my dinner stop. I love authentic So CA food as I grew up on it, and was looking forward to a deli/BBQ spin on it. You can order at the counter and go... More

My wife and I visited the Nipomo Deli and BBQ for the first time yesterday after hearing about it for years. We both had “Baby” pulled pork sandwiches and they were huge. Had to bring some home—my wife’s, not mine! The sandwich included a side of coleslaw. The Santa Maria Style smoky red oak flavor was a treat and surprise... More

As a restaurant, this is a homey, yummy place to eat for the whole family. But my favorite part is when they get live bands. The Mooks, Sound Investment, Dr. Danger, Catalina Eddy and many more excellent local bands play here often.

All the food we've ever had here is great but the chicken is some of the best anywhere. Even great to take home!

Santa Maria style fries aka asada fries! Best ever! Pulled pork is amazing. Chili Verde burrito! Lots of local beer on tap and local wine.

Consistently delicious. Today I had the chili verde burrito. Delicious! And I have plenty left over for dinner. It was gigantic.

Went for lunch with my Spouse for the first time and found out they have been in business for YEARS! OMG, Rancho Nipomo has the best Pastrami Sandwich in the area...yes, even better than Papa Napoli's (although I'm sure there is room for arguments for both). Also enjoyed an order of Sweet Potato Fries! Normally NOT my favorite (spouses choice),... More

I had the pulled pork sandwich and my wife had the tri-tip sandwich- both about $10 each. Plenty of meat and cooked to perfection. The only issue was there should have been a small side dish of cole slaw, beans, etc that comes with the sandwich and not have to buy it as an added item. Otherwise a great meal.

I've been here many times- alone, with friends, or with my husband and it's always been great! No matter what I've ordered, it's always looked the same and tasted the same- delicious!! Not only do they have amazing food but also awesome craft beer on tap by local breweries.

Great place. Great food. Easy on and off the freeway. My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich, and the fries are amazing. Bean and cheese burritos are great too. Phone ahead if you are on the road, stop by, then eat on the road, or eat on the dog friendly patio. Live music in the cantina too. Closed Monday.

Thank Carole B
