Lovely location with great outside seating. Basic problem is that the food is mediocre at best. Plan on coming for a glass of wine or cup of coffee.

Very good french toast, fritatta and sides of potatoes. Yum. Good coffee with friendly service. Went for Sunday lunch and there was a good female singer performing. Would definitely go back. Prices very reasonable.

Toast is a friendly local with tasty food, nicely presented and well prepared and when the weather works (almost always at lunch and sometimes at night -- they have heaters) eating outside on their patio is divine.

Sitting outside was a bit cold, so the owner walked by, gave my wife a blanket and moved a patio heater next to us. Now that is how to run a restaurant! The food was excellent as was the experience. The owner sent the chef out to talk to us about cajun food... If you are not on the run,... More

Enjoyed the vibe/atmosphere and the food was great. Cocktails were extremely good and we pretty much enjoyed everything. The only downside for us was the sub-par service... everyone was extremely friendly but the service was pretty slow (took 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted a drink and then it took almost an hour to get one of... Nice neighborhood spot with a lovely outdoor sitting area. The Toast menu has expanded considerably since the venue was first opened a few years go. In addition to an ok wine list, there is a full bar along with nibbles, salads and main courses. Service is friendly and knowledgeable.

On a sunny day you can sit outside, but the inside space is great. A spot where you can hold a business meeting or chat with friends in a tasteful atmosphere. Good wine selection and a happy hour ($7 for whatever the red or white is that day). $3 beer. I appreciate that the shared bathroom has a separate urinal... More

Our local family suggested we try this place & at first glance menu look a bit strange with little choice for our taste buds , but as it turned out the seafood chowder was excellent , as were the arancini balls & many salad choices . The French wine was also excellent . No problem going back for a second... More
