A good meal, but nothing memorable. Sat outside under a heat lamp. Had a house margharita - a bit sweet. Main course also good, but not memorable.

Small restaurant tucked in the back end of a line of stores. Not fancy, just good, authentic Mexican food. Six of us ate lunch there, meals ranging from tamales to fish tacos to enchiladas and chile verde and horchata. The tortillas were fresh and looked hand made, all the food was quite good and the salsas were tasty.

Authentic and tasty tamales - nice local owners and some locally sourced ingredients. Friendly and attentive service - we enjoyed a delicious place for lunch in Ojai.

La Fuente's has fantastic wedding taco bar catering service! Yolanda and her crew showed up before the March 19, 2016 wedding to set up the outdoor grill and service tables at the Ojai Women's Center, in Ojai, CA. Her can-do attitude made it all go smoothly. The handmade corn tortillas with three meat options were delicious. The fresh vegetable toppings... More

Great lunch place for authentic Mexican food. Very casual restaurant. The portions are quite large. I had the two tamale combo plate and my wife had the tamale and chili relleno combo plate. We were both pleased with our choices. I had two pork relleno's and my wife had one with chicken. We will definitely return on our next trip... More

I thought I was in a Mexican village when I ordered a fish taco and a sopa with carne asada. I had just been in a resort in Cancun and the food was better at La Fuente! No place has sopas anymore and I've never had a fish taco that was this good!

I come here for the tamales, but all the other things they make look and smell amazing. Small local place, inexpensive and really good homemade salsa's.

Authentic Mexican dishes with variety of options. My favorite is lengua, which was very tender & tasty. The lengua & carnitas taco was delicious. As well as the beef tamale. It's the largest I've eaten so far.

La Fuente is probably the most authentic Mexican food you will find. It always feels like family cooked it for you. This is where I go to get my asada burrito fix. It is a nice little hangout in the evening to grab a bite, and they also do take out. I love that there is usually a soccer game... More
