Where else can you go in CA and have a Cornish pastie and Shepherd's pie? This place was recommended to me by locals as a must-experience in Ojai and by Jove was I happy to find it, after having visited the Farmers Market. Had tea with a wonderful pumpkin pie, chatting with British expats and the odd tourist, the space... More

There is nothing pretentious about Plaza pantry - it is honest to goodness comfort. The best cup of tea in California and the best bacon butties! (sandwiches) Beryl makes your meal in front of you with no fuss, while cheering you up with news from the UK. Other guests join in the conversation as everyone seems to be friends in... More

Many food items are stocked on shelves that can't be found anywhere else. The owner loves her work even though she is elderly. The place is always quiet and friendly.

I liked the homey way breakfast was made, I did not order the coffee because I like better coffee (easily obtained nearby).

Beryl, a British ex-pat, provides hospitality, ambience and graciousness with every visit. Retail British comestibles on the shelves - my favorite is bottles of HP Sauce with the price in Pounds Sterling printed right on the label. Breakfast is done well here.

We shopped the Ojai Farmer's Market and then headed over to this hidden jewel for a tasty and out-of-the-ordinary brunch. I had the full English breakfast, which included a pot of tea, eggs, a banger and a crumpet...complete with delicious jams or lemon curd. Other choices from the menu look just as tempting, ranging from Cornish pasties to sausage rolls,... More

Located behind the Archs Arcade, this little tea shop run by a lovely English lady offers an excellent cream tea, as well as a full English breakfast for a very low cost. It was a great place to relax ones feet and have a Good Cuppa!!!!
