Friendly staff and good food. What's not to like? We come here often when we're in Pacific Grove. Good breakfasts with a variety of choices. We only seem to come here for the breakfasts, but as I recall the lunch menu is good too.

The food is always very hot and quick. The prices are resonable and the food is very good. Go visit.

Three of us enjoyed a mid-morning visit to Toasties today. It had been awhile, so I felt as if it was a totally new experience. Judy had an excellent corned beef hash, with scrambled eggs and sliced tomatoes, while Dan enthusiastically attacked a breakfast burrito (though he generously left some of it for me to sample). My own choice, olallaberry... More

Toasties is charming and usually a nice, relaxing, homey place to eat substantial, quality food but when it is really busy, the quality goes downhill. The service is usually polite and prompt but check to see how busy they are before you sit down.

We ate sandwiches and chowder for lunch. While the bread was fresh and my roast beef sandwich was okay, it was nothing special. The chowder was tasteless and my friend's turkey sandwich was also okay. The cashier's big frown was the first thing you saw as you came through the door. Then you saw the clever painting of whimsical animals... More

Great local spot which we love for breakfast with very tasty breakfast sandwiches and perfectly done home fries.

We went here because the wait at the Red Door Cafe was too long and we had time constraints. Next time I will happily wait in line at the Red Door Cafe where they offer much more interesting food. Our breakfast was OK...like someone else said "like at her aunt's house"....I would prefer something more creative and local with a... More

Our family of 11(7adults and 4 children) enjoyed Sunday morning breakfast at Toasties--the service was exceptional, the food was outstanding, and the price per item ordered was quite reasonable .Breakfast here was a very satisfying experience.

From the moment I walked in, this little restaurant made me feel like I was in my aunts house. I grew up with similar decor as the restaurant and it made me feel like I was a child again. The food was good. I was more focused on how cute the restaurant was. I get real tired of the chain... More
