Was in the mood for some Mexican food tonight and was in the Ramon Road shopping district so we decided to stop into Rubio's to see how their food was. I had been to a Rubio's in San Diego some years ago but had not been back to one in a few years. The Rubio's on Ramon Rd is nestled... More

Stopped by here for a quick and simple dinner. First time at a Rubio's but it won't be the last. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food was great and the place was very clean and well looked after. Tried the Mahi Mahi bowl and it was absolutely excellent. Great place for kids and Parents.

When we want a quick Mexican fix we head to Rubio's. It is quick convenient with service on plates and bowls which is better than former services on paper plates etc. Portions are generous and the value good Fish tacos and the shrimp Quesadilla are favorites but we have never had a bad dish here!

This is the first time I've been to Rubios in a long time. I went here today for "Tuesday Tacos". The fish tacos were large and filling. Service was friendly. I do wish that Rubios had larger containers for you to fill your salsa. Overall, this was an enjoyable place to eat on Tuesday.

Very good "faster food" mexican. A step up from "fast food" with a good selection of items, leaning heavily on shrimp-based dishes. Not very good choices for a vegetarian.

The Mahi Mahi blackened tacos are the very best you can find. I used to go to fancier Mexican places but my Mexican partner and I only come here now. Such fab value to. Well done Rubios. The staff are great too.

$7.99 for Mahi Mahi Burritos that are very good (see photo). Fresh not farmed. Most if not all of the other fish is farmed but still delicious. Another good burrito is a shrimp and bacon burrito for $8.50. Very flavorful! -On Tuesdays after 2:30pm, Fish tacos are $1.75 and $2.00 for Fish taco especial (guacamole added). -Salsa bar with 3... Rubio's is a small Mexican restaurant with great tacos and a home style feel. You order upfront and find yourself a place to sit. Food and drinks come out pretty quick and people clean up after themselves. Food was very tasty and each meal comes with a side of chips and beans. Salsa and various sauces are available on a... We come here every time we go to Palm Springs. The food is fresh and yummy. We get the chicken tacos or the fish tacos and both are awesome. This place is similar to Baja Fresh but much better. Great prices. Efficient staff.

I go to Rubio's often. I LOVE their food. I'd describe it as "Fresh-Mex". It's Mexican food, elevated. Always fresh. Many many many healthy choices. Not your usual Mexican food. Even the chicken burrito is elevated. It's fast, cheap (for the quality), fresh, delish!
