The vibe is modern vintage camping desert wood cool and the music on point. We walked over for coffee and pie. We didn't eat dinner but the food coming out from the kitchen looked delish. Excellent Stumptown roast was a caffeine win. Desert lime pie and sticky pudding were equally divine and e ate every last bite. Between the decor... More

This diner looks great & the food is served with great ingredients-their pickles are to die for. The service slipped a bit because they were so very busy, it felt rushed and whilst they were polite, they weren't very attentive.

A wonderful lunch from a creative menu. At least three at the table enjoyed the crispy Jidori chicken sandwich (One even had the option of having it grilled instead of fried.) Terrific cold brew coffee and friendly, attentive servers (Sara). Ashley, the manager was attentive to a matter that was brought to her attention. Yummy chocolate chip cookie to go... More

Here on vacay. Always looking for a good place for breakfast. A friend recommended this place. We don't quite get the atmosphere and look (sort of beat up and tired, and oh-so trendy. Kudos for different, though!). But the service is very friendly and competent. The food? Even more so. Lots of really interesting ingredients and recipes to shake off... More

You must have the avocado toast here and the coffee is yummy. We had hoped to get dinner during Monday night bingo but that's the one night they don't take reservations so if you want to see that, I suggest arriving just after 5:30pm for a cocktail then slowly nosh your dinner so you can see the fun show starting... Only place with the kitchen open past ten. That said, yummy food, reasonable prices and a really friendly waitress. A happy find!

We came to King's Highway based on good online reviews and stayed because of the entertainment. We happened to be there on bingo night Monday hosted by the illustrious Shirley Claire and were thoroughly captivated by her humour and candor. The food was average. The little gem salad was a few pieces of grapefruit and a sprinkle of pomegranate over... More

Stopped here just for breakfast with a small group of family and friends. The server was very efficient and helpful with suggestions for breakfast choices. Food was great and fueled us for the entire day while trekking through Joshua Tree National Park.

I ALWAYS visit this restaurant when I'm in town. The coffee is fabulous every time. The menu is a bit quirky but I have never been disappointed with my choices. The date shakes are a must.

The food is OK. I ordered the tuna melt. It was not open faced, as I am used to. The flavour was odd, I still can't place it, and the cheese made the sandwich very rich. Too rich for my liking. The fries seemed like they were Sysco fries. I have read good things about the restaurant but I can't... More
