Stopped mid-day for drinks and a rest. Nice outdoor area with plenty of umbrellas for shade. Chips and salsa were good. Unfortunately, Pina Coladas were just average at best.

Enjoyed my first visit to the Blue Coyote. We had a nice table outside on the deck. Our server was solid but not exceptional. Chips and salsa were good. The salsa has a bit of heat without being overwhelming. I ordered the chicken mole and would definitely recommend it. It's a big portion! The other entries included shrimp tacos and... More

On a very busy weekend, there were several restaurants with quite a wait, some of which we have found to be poor quality. Blue Coyote was able to seat us right away, and we've always found the service friendly, eager to please. The roasted corn chowder is a great starter, and the menu is a step above most mexican restaurants.... More

We eat a lot of Tex-Mex in my house. During vacations, we routinely seek out local Tex-Mex wherever we are in the United States (less so in Europe), but particularly in the SW. Blue Coyote is on my top ten list of Tex-Mex places in this country. The food is always tasty and thoughtfully prepared. I can recommend this restaurant... More

This is the second time we ate here. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is varied with traditional Mexican dishes. The salsa was mild and chips crunchy. My husband's beef brisket has a delicious barbecue sauce. I had a Chopped Cobb salad with guacamole. The corn chowder looked thick and delicious. Traditional burritos were large. There is a full... More

Part of the family swears that I had been here before, but for the life of me, I cannot remember it. Arriving at 2PM, the one way street in front of the restaurant is busy and suddenly, a cars pulls out and a space opens. Can you tell me why someone would pass by a parking space directly in front... We stopped for lunch a couple of days ago. The chips are a little thicker than normal chips you find down here. Pairs very well with the thick salsa, just spicy enough. The service is always great and friendly. We had 2 of the Cobb salads, very fresh and flavorful. Lots of avocado slices. The Pollo Cilantro is one of... More

Very good food! Margaritas were good too. Our waiter Albert was marvelous and very attentive. We had fajitas, a chicken dish, fish and enchilada. It was all great and the outdoor atmosphere was wonderful!
