We've been here twice in a three week period. We sat in the bar area for Happy Hour between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Wine and beers are $4.00 and they have appetizers at Happy Hour Prices. Shafik served us both times and he's an amazing server. We ordered chicken satays for an appetizer. You get five skewers of chicken... More

We live in Washington state so to find a great Thai with a happy hour that the kids can be present at ticks all the boxes. Quite large portions so one night we shared three mains between the four of us and another night we ordered off the happy hour menu entirely. Great cocktails too. Food was very impressive.

We have driven by so many times and love Thai food. We shared a cup of Tom Yum. It was okay but have had better. Straw mushrooms are better than button. I had Pad Thai and enjoyed it. Plenty of meat and the sauce was delicious. I played it safe. My husband had the peanut chicken which he loved. I... More

There are lots of American and Mexican alternatives in Palm Springs so it's nice to have this Thai place as a form of variety. We went for take-out since once person in our party had trouble finding vegetarian dishes at our hotel. The food was good but not that flavorful. Service and atmosphere was also OK.

I am GF due to Celiac and many Thai Restaurants claim that their food is GF but for me I find out the hard way that they are not. I never have a problem here and the staff is very knowledgeable about what is in the food and will steer me in the right direction. I have eaten here over... More

Our party of six was greeted by the charming SHAFIK, one of those terrific waiters whose first line was "Well, this group is going to be trouble!" We weren't, because he kept us amused and plied with fantastic food. And drinks. And entertainment to the point of expecting a cover charge. There wasn't, but of course they added an 18%... More

Have been going there for years; old place and new place, have always enjoyed the food, but felt they did a better job in their smaller venue. We were there recently and were very disappointed. The staff was as pleasant as always, but the food was another story. The dishes we ordered were lacking in flavor, and presentation was unappetizing.... More

Every time we visit Palm Springs, we dine at Thai Smile at least a couple of times. We often eat there early on Thursdays, prior to the start of the downtown Street Fair. The best place for Thai food in the desert!

The best part of our meal turned out to be the pre-meal cocktails. My wife ordered a unique "Spicy Mango" while I had their signature "My Thai Smile which was a drink of blended rums with fruit juices - very good but on the high side of cost at $12 per drink. Being Canadian, this equates to more like $15-16... More
