A bit of a hidden spot that may be tough to find and we weren't too sure of what entrance to check in. Walk through the gate and enter the building and you will be warmly greeted and seated. It's a bit crowded and a bit loud but good service. Food was ok and is more comfort food than fine... More

Meets all the criteria. Good food, beverage, service, energy/vibe and good value. It's true, the place is a hidden gem. The salmon and salad were done to perfection. The martini was a birdbath and reasonable. The apple pie a la mode was excellent and enormous. All servings were generous. The place was clean, friendly and great service. Highly recommended.

You will never see or find it without a GPS! This hidden gem never stops impressing taste buds and empty stomachs.I love the rack of lamb (if you like you meat medium rare, request medium). For appetizers, I suggest the Cheesy garlic escargot. The fresh baked bread is the perfect spoon to grab all the left-over juices. Salads are fresh... More

If you are a Foodie....you do not want to miss this place. We have been coming for the past 5 years and have never had a bad meal. You must make a reservation a week or more in advance as this little gem is not very large. Inside is noisy and warm so we have always sat outside by the... More

I was somewhat disappointed in the food at John Henry's. Reminded me of a hospital cafeteria where the food is kept warm for hours. There was some kind or orange sauce poured over everything - perhaps to add flavour. Staff were pleasant....food....so so

We had a wonderful dinner here. The outdoor patio is very nice. The menu is varied and very reasonable. Everything we ordered was delicious. Will definiitely return if I am in the area.

A little out of the main stream of downtown Palm Springs but ever popular with mostly locals, this restaurant serves up tasty food and drink with excellent service. Their meatloaf is outstanding.

Once you step onto the patio at the precious secluded John Henry's, you are taken in by the lovely aromas and twinkling lights... inside the art on the walls reminds you of a quaint little bistro in the South of France... but the best is yet to come... the food is delightful. Duck, lamb chops, liver, steak, pasta...with soups salads... More

The food here was excellent and the restaurant itself was set in a neat patio behind a small gate hiding it. Service was good despite it being very busy. Reservations are a must. Lamb shank and crispy duck w Caesar salad were very tasty and we needed to go bags especially since you get 2 lamb shanks, 2! We will... More

This restaurant has been around forever, though this was my first time here. We were here for a birthday celebration and it was a good choice. We met for an early relaxed dinner. We all ordered different entrees which my friends enjoyed immensely. Our choices included veal, duck, lamb, fish and chicken each served with soup or salad. We each... More
