The food was awesome. I would definitely say that the food was comparable to that of a good manhattan deli. The menu was huge and had a ton of selections, and it was all decently priced. A meal big enough for two was about $15. The service was also very good and attentive. They serve the entire menu at all... More

We shared a brisket dip sandwich and it was plenty for both of us. The place seems like it's not as clean and getting to be run down somewhat. Maybe they changed owners? But the food was still good.

Stopped for lunch after many recommendations. Had the tongue-brisket-jack rye sandwich with Russian potato salad, likely the largest and one of the most delicious I have had. Was busy, we ate outside on the deck. The dessert display looked incredible. Will be back, perhaps for brunch or for a dessert meal.

We usually go here for a good breakfast, however this time I decided to try lunch. I just wanted something basic and figured with the size of their massive menu, i'd find something. I decided on just a basic Patty Melt w/fries. I did have good, timely service in a nice atmosphere however the meal lacked any flavor (burger or... More

Staff are very welcoming and friendly, and we had heard from so many people that it was the pace to visit.....I really didn't think it was that great, i believe Shermans offered better food......Servings were very large ,, but all at table felt that it seemed dry and tasteless.....Was not worth the drive.

Every time I'm in town we always go here as our first stop. Food is always good. Also have a bakery inside and small deli type area. Pickles are yummy. Corn beef sandwich is a must.

This is a great, old school NYC style deli restaurant settled into the beautiful palm springs area. Service is typically attentive and the portions are definitely enough to have some leftovers. Good lunch spot.

If you're looking for deli, there are really two main choices in the desert. Manhattans, and Sherman's. Both are really good choices. I'll give the nod to Sherman's, but Manhattan's is also A really good choice. I used to love the chicken noodle soup here. Just superb. However, today, it was beyond bland. Really really bland. Adding salt helped immensely.... More

If you like New York style food, this is the place for you. Get the pickles too. You have to ask, but they are well worth it. After dinner, have the cheesecake! It is so delicious and the portion is large enough to share at your table. Nice quiet atmosphere. Went twice on this visit for the hot dog and... More
