We went here after a long day at the office. It was very busy...but they have a very comfortable lounge area where you can order drinks and tapas...perfect for a group! Good selection of cocktails. Recommend the short rib tacos. The ahi, crab cakes, and empanadas were decent. Service was outstanding!

Beautiful restaurant, really terrific food. Sit at the large open windows, not easy to get in and they are open all day so plan a late lunch or early dinner for easy seating.

Easy to find in the middle of Palo Alto (immediately opposite the Apple store) super efficient and friendly service and great pan Latin food. Lots of space for big parties. Very much recommended.

What a terrific selection of tapas! Excellent for a group dinner -- lots of variety, plenty for vegetarians and pescatarians as well as carnivores. Not too noisy, and good service.

I've been to Joya several times over the past several years. They have yet to disappoint me. They have a good range of tapas to choose from - including delicious Dungeness crab cakes, Ahi tuna tartar, Kobe sliders, Chipotle Tostadas, and my absolute favorite, Chorizo corndogs. They also have an outstanding paella but be warned, it feeds two and takes about... We were walking down the street looking for a spot to have lunch and I saw Joya. What a pleasant spot. The restaurant was not crowded because we were early. My Cuban sandwich was great and the yucca fries were really yummy. Everyone in our group commented on how delicious three food was. This was a great lunch choice!

The restaurant delivers a modern Mexican fusion menu extremely well. The tapas are of particular interest and can provide a culinary journey. The service was quick and expedient. The atmosphere swings from laid back at lunch to energetic in the evening. The restaurant has a modern decor, however, it can be a bit loud when crowded. The window seating provides... More

Joya is a great place to eat if you are planning to go to Palo Alto. It's not very expensive for the quality of food and service.

Was visiting Joya with my friend, the other day. We ate half of the plates on the menu, mostly seafood and vegetarian and enjoyed every part of it! Drank the most awesome Sangria and loved it! Actually, I think it was the best one I ever had!! The atmosphere is rich, the design of the place is luxurious and the... More

We had a management team dinner here in their private dining room, but while we all felt that the entrance through the backdoor in a dark alley almost made us shy away, the absolutely amazing food and top notch service made up for that, and during dinner we forgot that detail. We had three allergies which unfortunately weren't notified in... More
