We sat outside, which is beautiful. Kids got the slice and soda deal and I had a salad. Very good and reasonable. Beautiful seating area surrounded by nice plants and flowers. Wish we lived closer!

Three adults and a toddler on a Friday night; this was our Plan B after we discovered our first choice didn't have indoor seating. Turned out to be for the best! The adults had glasses of wine (I very much enjoyed my Sauvignon Blanc). We had garlic bread, polenta, and a simple margarita pizza. We enjoyed it all. Prices were... More

Howie's offers a bar with limited but decent menu, a few dozen tables for eat-in dining, unusual artisan style Pizza options. Cesar salad was good, only one size offered, baked potato Pizza was ok. Good for a quick bite, a little pricey for pizza.

Senior citizen talking to other seniors: This is a nice place--big clean room, tables aren't crowded together, outdoor seating, no loud music, prompt service from a competent staff, all good things. But for my taste, the pizza was just average and better is available elsewhere. Pay attention to the check--service is automatically added.

This is a great place and serves the best pizza in the Bay Area. The menu is unique and fun and the food is delicious. I could happily eat here every week.

I recently ate here with a large party after a long day of meetings, I was really impressed with everything I ate. Howie's is pretty easy to find, right on the corner of Embarcadero and El Camino Royal, it's in an upscale strip mall. Parking in prime dining hours can be difficult, but if you do a lap or two... Great pizza in the Palo Alto area and their baked polenta scores top marks too. Located in a small mall with easy parking. Just wish their wines were served a little cooled but the pizza is way above average and makes up for this shortcoming.

Howie's is well worth a visit if you are in the Palo Alto area. Easy parking in the Town and County Village. Great Pizza selection, great service and some local brews!
