The Fish Market was my first stop in SFO. Was quite excited about the food but a letdown. It's kind of over rated. Food was average. Could have been our order. Not too excited after the meal.

This place blew us away. We got right in on a busy night likely because it's huge! There's a very large staff and they run their tails off to ensure everyone is taken care of and food is delivered to your table fast and hot. But what really impressed us is the variety of seafood choices and the generous portions... More
Great gathering with friends here, the dishes are fresh and yummy. Great seafood combi which is so appetising and delicous... will be back for more
Affordable, comfortable setting, conveniently located on El Camino Real. Variety of seafood to satisfy everyone and good wine list, complemented by pleasant and efficient staff.
The Fish Market restaurant offers a huge variety of fish dishes (and a few non-fish). The setting is very plain, but if you are in the mood for fish it's worth it. You can also buy fish at the retail counter in front.
Try the lime-ginger prawns appetizer! Our rockfish and swordfish entrees were delicious. Food was fresh and hot off the grill.
Very good seafood alternative in Palo Alto. Very extensive and varied menu. Service very efficient. If you are looking for an informal good seafood place in Palo Alto, The Fish Market is the place.

Not fancy, and it gets crowded, but if you want a wwell prepared, quality cut of fish for a "somewhat expensive" ptrice, this is the place. They have been here forever and still get the crowds, plus many repeat customers. What does that tell you?
