Better than fast food joints for sure Kirk's is a local standard for good burgers at a reasonable price.

Kirks has been around forever. They serve real, old fashioned hamburgers and fries. This is not a "fast food" joint.

Big, juicy burgers that are cooked to order on charcoal grill. Orders take about 15 minutes or so to pickup as they are made fresh. There is a bar for additional toppings like lettuce, tomatoes and peppers. Shakes, beer and wine are available too. We liked our burgers and those that got shakes likes them. The coleslaw was bland to... More

This is a very unassuming place. It's set up like a fast food restaurant, but the burgers are really, really good and there is a "fixings" bar where you can pile up your plate with whatever you wish to add to your burger. Kind of crowded, a bit of a wait, but it was worth it.

I've been going to Kirk's since it opened and was very disappointed that the place is so shabby, and the quality of the food has seriously gone downhill. This used to be my go-to burger place, and was sad to see how lacking it is.

I first went to Kirk's when it was on El Camino out by L'Omellette Restaurant. Place was smoky with grilled burgers but very homey and friendly and you put all the stuff on after you got it handed to you in a basket. We moved out of CA but when back used to go to where it moved on California... More

Tried Kirk's for the first time and it was a GREAT burger!! Thick, juicy, fresh condiments that you get yourself - lettuce, tomato, pickle, peppers, mustard, ketchup, mayo, A1, whatever you want. I highly recommend the food and would have given them a 5... BUT... Beware of the weekday lunch crowd when school is in session. I made the mistake... More

When I was in junior high at Wilbur and high school at Cubberley my mother use to take us to Kirk's at the original location on El Camino back in the 60's. In those days the grill was in the center of the dining area and you cooked your own. There were condiments of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayonnaise, mustard, and... More

I really enjoyed these burgers and the prices are quite reasonable for the area. I highly recommend for those who truly love burgers.

Have you heard the phrase -- they don't make it like the old days? Kirk's makes their burgers like the old ways with real good meat, cooked the way you like it. Surly you don't pay for ambiance, you pay fair price for a good burger, and the sides. The staff is friendly and fast. I don't eat burgers every... More
