The place was a cute little joint and had a good menu to choose from. Only thing was that our food was a bit over cooked. Bacon to done, pancake tough and the biscuit over cooked.

This is a must stop for breakfast. I had a burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, peppers, and potatoes. It was enormous and I am usually a member of the “clean plate club” but I was too full to finish this. My wife had the cheese omelet which she said was also excellent and she could not clean her plate either.... More

Enjoyable ambiance, clean and tidy restaurant. Food is really excellent, very good quality and priced right. The Marine owner(s) knows how to do it right. The service is excellent too. Definitely recommend the biscuits instead of other bread although some may think they are a little dry - hey put some butter on it. To me biscuits were very good... More

The service was good, but the items we chose were not our favorite. We both had the biscuits, sausage and gravy and the biscuits seemed very dry. We are from Texas and used to soft buttermilk biscuits but these just seemed off. The portions were large and the price very reasonable.

This is one those great eateries where locals and tourists converge to enjoy the ambiance and good food. The breakfast portions are substantial and fill you up. The service was outstanding.

Above average American breakfast. Big portions, decent taste and good coffee. Cool location. Only one dig. Biscuits and gravy may be a personal taste thing. These were a bit unflavored.

Mom and pop kind of place with good selection, good service and friendly staff. No pretensions, just straight forward old school food done right.

Joe's is a normal cafe. The food is really good. It is very small so timing is everything. They also have a location in Templeton. I love the food here, it is reasonably priced and you can order anything and expect it will be good home made food.

This is my favorite restaurant for breakfast whenever I stay overnight in Paso Robles during their many annual wine events. It's a hearty, old-fashioned, American breakfast with my favorite crispy hash browns, omelets, huevos rancheros, and a killer cup of coffee that rarely goes dry!

Standard American fare, overall, but great thick bacon/eggs with crispy hash browns and first rate service. Very enjoyable experience.
