We went here on a recommendation. Neither of the white wines we wanted were available, and we were initially served a red by mistake. The waitress didn't seem to have an understanding of the wines she was serving, but we moved on. The shared platter was a good appetizer, and both our main courses were good, though delivered with a... More
This restaurant was surprisingly good , considering it is in downtown Paso Robles, a wine oriented city. The food was nicely prepared, tasty, and abundant. Each dish had its own distinct flavor. The noodles were great, but so was everything else.
We love the Kao Soy which is only a lunch item and we crave this dish frequently. The ladies in the kitchen make the ramen handmade and everything in this dish is unique and delicious. I Enjoy our experience every time we eat here. I enjoy the cleanliness of the restaurant, the unique decor, the staff is super friendly and... More
We are a group of 3 ladies visiting Paso Robles. We decided on Thai food for dinner. This place did not disappoint. We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Food came in good time, even though the whole place was full. Steaming hot, flavorful and good size portions. The price was affordable and centrally located downtown. I would... More
We were traveling on Christmas Day and wandered into Basil for dinner. It was warm and inviting. We sat at the bar and had a delicious dinner cooked to perfection. The restaurant was crowded and the takeout was busy. We had wonderful service and did not feel rushed. Would recommend this restaurant for a great meal out.
Good service food arrived the rice was cold the pork was tough and the other food was not really hot it was room temperature the flavor was good but again rice cold food at room-temperature, service great give it a 3. Need to try the other Thai restaurants in Paso next time.
On a Saturday I had dinner there, no reservation made but there was still space. The food was excellent and also a very good price/quality ratio. I appreciated as well that they offered a strong list of local wines which is not common for thai restaurant! The service was very good too
We went here as a family and there was something for everyone. Loads of vegetarian and gluten free options as well as fantastic spicy beef noodle and chicken panang curry. Service was attentive despite how busy it was. Delicious!
