We were taking our family of four out for breakfast in Pismo. We had heard great things about it, so we stopped by. It is perfect for a family with young kids - you don’t mind being a little noisy, food is good and plentiful....The service was good, just a tiny touch slow and there was a long wait - still worth a robust four stars, however. Yummie brekkie

Found this place on tripadvisor and did not disappoint! We both had the french toast with poached eggs and bacon, was very tasty. Big portion and lovely to sit outside. Can defenitely recommend.

Outstanding chili verde

The chili verde was outstanding. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered a bowl to go. Loved the home fries. My fried egg was cooked the way I like it, and the coffee was good. Food was great, service was also great

No problems reaching this place. Easy walk from our hotel. The food was very good (love my linguica). My wife had the strawberry pancakes. We both came away stuffed.

Lovely brunch!

Delicious takeaway breakfast

Had breakfast two days last week while staying in Pismo Beach and can definitely recommend Penny's. Delicious cheese omelette and hash browns (which are soft in the centre, not hard and crispy), oatmeal and scrambled eggs. Very friendly service and great coffee too. We'll definitely...be back!More

long time customer - disappointed.

We have called Penny's our favorite Sunday breakfast place for many years. The staff is always friendly, food prepared to our taste and served hot. Not this time. Did not recognize any of the staff, servers were perfunctory with their remarks, food was tasty but...cool to room temperature. Breakfast should always be served hot, unless you are having cold cereal! There was no warmth in the servers voice, it was almost scripted. Penny, you need to bring back the old staff or better train your Sunday staff regarding customer care and getting the food to the table while still hot. Coffee was good.More
