Tahoe Joe's offers a great lunch menu. Good food at a fair price. Ambience & Value. Highly recommended. Mike & Karen Armone

For those of us that love the place, Vacaville and Modesto will have to suffice now. Just heard through friends that Pleasant Hill suddenly closed today, and was being dismantled quickly. That said, we loved the drinks, the Railroad Camp Shrimp is always a good appetizer, and any of the steaks are delicious. My wife loves the Pork Chops, two... More

My first time visit here with friends for lunch. Chose the bacon wrapped shrimp in Knob Creek Bourbon sauce. It was great. Would definitely go here again.

Food was very good. Server was top notch although she kept us waiting a couple of times. Atmosphere was relaxing and ideal for any couple. Prices were reasonable and parking available. (Might be pay parking at other times during the day)

the meal was good and the service was very good. Got to sit outside with my friends so I could bring my small dog along. Love that I am able to do that.

Our first and only visit, so far, to Tahoe Joe's was less than we hoped for. Calling themselves a Steak House brought us in the door and encouraged me to order a Prime Rib. I asked the Chef about an End Cut and they said they had a beauty, nice bark and still tender meat. It was, in a word,... More

Four business associates and myself went to Tahoe Joe's for dinner. After drinks at the bar, we were escorted to our table. We ordered a couple of appetizers and another round of drinks. Our server then took our dinner order after delivering the drinks and appetizers. That was the "high" point of the evening. It went downhill fast from that... More

I don't know why they are still in business. The prices are why too high for Pleasant Hill especially because of the size of steaks and service. The wine they pour is the size of a juice glass and over priced. The service is slow and wait is long. If the food was exceptional or even very good I would... More

Recently went to dinner. Started with crab cakes, which were very good and tasty. We both got the Ponderosa Sirloin, medium rare. They were grilled perfectly and with a \wonderful flavor. The sting beans were a nice addition. Our server, Sonoma, was one of the most professional and efficient waitresses we have come across. She was polite and friendly in... More
