We happened to go during Tropical Week, and were greeted by Hawaiian music, our choice of leis, and menu items featuring theme flavors. We took a later tea time, and enjoyed a quieter experience. The tea menu is extensive, and upon arrival we were welcomed with their daily special tea and a cookie. Our hostess was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and attentive.... More

Food was good and plenty but pricey. Place was crowded with ladies and girls. We sat outside for a little quiet.

I've been here maybe 5 times with female family members. Very cute, good service, tasty food. Lovely place to sit and talk while sharing special food. Cute gifts.

It was a delightful ladies lunch and I highly recommend the food, tea, service and atmosphere. There is a small gift shop that offers a variety of English items. You also can order a huge variety of loose tea to take home.

It is a perfect place for a ladies lunch, shower, or afternoon tea. Delightfully decorated and appointed. Cozy touches all around. It's quite small, but they make the most of it. Good variety of teas and the sandwiches and cookies provide plenty variety even for this vegetarian. I love this little place.

This establishment conforms to the traditions of the finest tea houses in California and around the world. It meets all expectations. Tea and goodies are served at three different sessions: 11AM, 1PM and 3PM. Since a large meal is served, plan one's dining events for the day accordingly! We were promptly seated at our appointed reservation time and made to... More

Last night a friend emailed me and asked if I wanted to go to lunch the next day, together. I said Yes. Have wanted to visit The English Rose Tea Room so we decided to go there. We did not have reservations but they graciously let us eat there anyway. It is highly recommended to have reservations so the cook... More

We had our English tea at lunchtime-something I have never done in UK but it was lovely & fun. The "tea room" is decorated wth roses & mirrors drapes with appellate wallpaper & I guess beautifully twee which gave it the ambience for the tea that followed. We has a choice of 100 teas- never been offered that many anywhere... More

A friend of mine and I arrived and had a wonderful time of tea and visiting. The service was EXCELLENT, the food very good, and also very fresh. We enjoyed the décor and the variety of teas available (although we enjoy English breakfast, plain-Jane tea!) All of the goodies were delicious. The only thing I would change would be to... More

Try the Queen's Special...you will get a sample of all the wonderful sandwiches and scones offered. And there must be at least a hundred different teas to choose from. Friendly service...a delightful experience.
