Great small family owned restaurant. No big signage just a small A Frame on side of road. Went on Sunday at 10am and place was packed. Waited 35 minutes for a table but it was for 8 people.

First trip to The Dead Fly diner and it was a great experience. We were greeted promptly and was seated right away The great thing about little Mom n Pop places like this is breakfast is available ALL day. Many, many omelette choices as well as traditional breakfast food. Super generous portions of some great tasting food with a home... More

We dropped by for breakfast on Black Friday. It was packed. The food was good and could not be finished. Service was pretty good for as busy as they were. It is a good stop before wine tasting.

A group of five of us arrived around 8AM on a Sunday morning for breakfast. This place can get very busy on weekends, however, we were early enough to beat the crowds. Friendly staff, fast and efficient. Each of us was very pleased with our meals. Between us we ordered a large variety of items such as omelets, waffles, bacon,... More

We stopped for Breakfast at this Cafe, also known as "The Dead Fly Cafe" which is printed on their cups and tee shirts (for sale). It was busy and we waited for a table not too long maybe 10 minutes. The dining room was full as was the area just outside the kitchen in the front half of the diner.... More

Great food in a local Plymouth restaurant that has been popular for decades. Fresh homemade pies, great breakfast and lunch menu, along with caring service by the owner, Karen. There are huge portions of food, quality you won't find in a typical diner, and reasonable pricing. Definitely worth a visit when you are traveling along Hwy 49 in the Sierra... More

I have been here, mostly for breakfast, at least 10 times. I have never had a bad experience. It's a popular place and sometimes there's a wait, but it's worth it. This small-town, unsophisticated place has an extensive, interesting menu. It's fun when you take several friends because you can order different things and everyone can try them. This is... More

Marlene & Glen's was the perfect end to a great weekend! We were heading back home and stopped in for breakfast. Immediately, the feel is like a diner in a small country town-very friendly and the food? So comforting, just like eating at your family table.

We stopped for lunch and met Karen who served us and found out her and Mike owned the placed. Was hard to know what you wanted to eat with so many things on the menu.
