We went on a Monday Evening. Only two tables of customers. The cashier was friendly. They opened until 8 pm. The menu has less selection than the Redwood City one. No bread with the soup either. Lobsters were fresh, but kind of small. The price was kind of expensive. This place offers outdoor seatings.

For us, Lobster Shack used to be a reliable local place to get a tasty meal at a "reasonable" price. As another reviewer indicated, it has recently had a change of management; the food quality and quantity has gone down and the prices have gone up. My husband used to order the fish and chips, which formerly came with good... More

Tasty sandwich for lunch but they are way overpriced. It is a very casual atmosphere with just a few tables.

If you've read on into my review, you're having such a happy day that you need to come back to earth, right? Well, this is a dose of reality you can skip. The crab salad - TOTALLY over priced. You can get a head of lettuce at the store for $1.50 and save yourself 18 bucks. Sandwiches - again, not... More

This place is "under new ownership" (read the Menlo Park Almanac for more info) and the lobster rolls just got more expensive! $28.95 for a "meh" lobster roll, way overpriced. Whoever said this is a sea side place is dreaming. The tables and chairs are on the sidewalk in front of the local grocery store in a strip mall. Great... More

Awesome place, very pricey but high quality and a cool quiet little setting. Had two lobster rolls, Maine style. Lobster was chunky and deliciously marinated in mayo & butter. Bread was small but rich & dense. Fries were great & seemed to be homemade. New England clam chowder was also delicious. We also got the Mac n cheese which was... More

My husband & I ordered supper to go while traveling from out of state. We saw it rec'd a lot of good reviews on tripadvisor. We paid $60 for 2 sandwiches, one soup, and one dessert. The restaurant seemed overrated to us. The lobster roll was a very small sandwich on bread so hard that I could not eat it.... More

We are from the east coast so We know lobster and lobster rolls. These are really good but not true East coast rolls. They need mayo and chopped celery to be cape code rolls, but they are very good. And as promised 2 lobster rolls are $60.00 ! Which in our family is "oh cmon ", expensive !!!
