A small restaurant in the back of a shopping center that is a favorite of locals. The salsa is pretty good and the margaritas are strong. Sometimes, that's all you need. I usually get chicken fajitas, so that would be my pick as a recommendation.

I used to like this place for their lunch specials on weekdays but my last lunch was a disappointment. Price went up quite a bit and portion size went way down. They also went from bowls of salsa to 2 tablespoon size cups and act annoyed if you ask for a second (much less a 3rd or 4th). The sauce... More

Unless you have been to Mexico, you might think this is authentic food. I must admit that the atmosphere was authentic but the the food was not. I have had better Mexican food at Chili's. The enchiladas tasted good except for the sauce and the salad choice was almost totally ice berg lettuce. Very disappointing but my two young grandchildren... More

I have eaten at Mexicocina in the past - but admittedly not the recent past. I should have known something was up when I saw that there were not many diners there. I recall the patio being packed with happy diners! Last week, we had no problems getting a table at 6:30 on a Friday night! My husband and I... More

This was hands down to the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. It appeared that the chimichanga was one of those 99 cent burritos from the grocery stores at a deep fried and my carne asada nachos look more like it had cat food on it rather than carne asada. Not to mention they were soggy and cold. The service... More

We go to happy hour at Mexi Cocina at least once a week and the chicken quesadilla and the drinks are great. The outside patio on both sides is a great place to relax. When you are there say hey to Angie the owner, she is always there watching over the customers with a smile and genuine interest in pleasing... More

Mexicocina has everything you want in a mexican restaurant.- Extensive menu, good food, fast service, 2 covered outdoor patio's, one outside the full bar which has a nice size big screen TV, large parking lot. The bar is known for many drinks the rather large cadillac margarita's being the crowd favorite. We've had groups of 12 in there, no problem.... More

I used to come here pretty regularly when visiting family in CA. My last visit will be my last. The food was dreadful. Flavorless tacos on store-bought corn tortillas, bagged shredded (cheddar!) cheese and bland salsa. My dad's burrito wasn't even a burrito. This place used to be awesome, and I said so in a prior review. Times have changed.

We had a very large group of family members including children and seniors. Reservations were made in advance and they accommodated us quite well. The food was great and the prices were excellent.

This restaurant has been serving authentic Mexican dishes for many years. Although I never felt that the staff really took the time to build a friendly relationship with me/my family, I never let the impersonal service stop me from enjoying some if the best burritos, fajitas and especially, the Albondigas soup. It's simply the best I've ever tasted--lots of fresh,... More
