Visited with a group of friends searvice was good but one of us was shortchanged on a pomegranate martini. Half of our group were very pleased with their choices (sole & calves liver). The other half was not happy with the paella. t was dry with very intense flavor.

We were not sure what to expect--and came away very pleased. We had very fond memories of a trip to Spain and were hoping for authentic. You can either come casual or dressed up--there was a guitar player on Friday night, who played a good amount from the Eric Clapton Unplugged album. We started with a pitcher of Sangria--even though... More

Lots of seating and a wide range of entrees to please just about everyone. Central dinning square lends itself to a Mediterranean atmosphere.

Loved it......went during Restaurant Week 2016 and except for the noise level (conversations were loud due to the amount of people in the place and a lot of sound-bouncing materials used). Been meaning to go back there and try the regular menu but just haven't gotten there yet.

I had fond memories of this restaurant from past visits approximately 5 years ago, but was disappointed with the Paella which should be their premier dish. The clams were like eating rubber and the sausage was very bland. The shrimp were the best part of the dish.

We had wanted to try this restaurant for a while and were glad we finally did. While the menu looks limiting, the selections were very interesting and everything was prepared well and with a different twist. The bread and pesto they served at the beginning was delicious. The charcuterie tray was fantastic, with lots of accompaniments, and the vegetables and... More

I am not a picky eater. But my doctor put me in sort of a strict kinda diet. But I'm in vacation so whatever. I had my eye on the Chicken Milanese since checking out the place online. Unfortunately when we got there it was a busy night and they were out. The waiter in a very nice way suggested... More

Visiting town and was looking for something different. We've traveled extensively in Spain, and I'm not sure that the food here qualifies to represent the Catalan area, with several dishes from throughout Spain, but mixed with Fried Chicken, and other non-Spanish dishes. The Octopus was very good, the mixed tapas were again "mixed"...the chorizo very good, the pepper with goat... More

We did not enjoy our experience. Firstly though the service was excellent, both waiter and busboy. We loved the atmosphere and energy of the restaurant. Neither of us liked the CHOPPED up Romain salad, it could have been any Romain lettuce, not baby Romain as stated. The buttermilk coating on the chicken livers looked like granola instead of being delicate... More

A surprisingly good find on Hwy 111 was Catalan restaurant in Rancho Mirage. It is Mediterranean and Spanish in origin, but all is good there as the other three people in my party so attested. There are specials and "happy hour" prices as well for tapas, food and drinks.. The flamenco guitar player in the atrium was well worth the... More
