We came in for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were given the option of the patio with a ten minute wait or inside so we chose inside and were seated right away. Our waiter was very attentive, the only thing I found unusual was that I ordered a bottled beer and he said he would need to make sure... More

i wasn't expecting much for some reason but i was pleasantly surprised that it was amazing. the short rib sandwich was one of the best things i've ever tasted in my life. seriously it was off the charts amazing. take my advice and buy it, eat it and you will be happy happy happy.

The only reason I didn't and give Babe's a one star rating is because the design, and décor are very attractive. Service was sub par. The wait for just an appetizer to arrive took 40 min. Those were three of the tiniest fried green tomatoes ever for $9. Fish and Chips were two little pieces of cod dripping with oil... More

When you need to chase down a server after sitting for 15 minutes and not being acknowledged you need to have a hard look at your staff training. It doesn't matter if the food is good or not... when service is that bad and the choices are so plentiful it is safe to say I won't be back.

It was a chilly night wo we wanted something more substantial and decided on Babes. We tried the heated patio but even with the heaters, the wind won. Once inside, the service was great. It was very busy (on a Tuesday night) and the waiter missed my cold slaw ordered but it was brought up very fast. The baby back... More

We went to Babe's on recommendation of a friend. Have to say there are too many really good restaurants in the area to command a return visit. This is more like one Sonny's BBQ places in Tampa Bay area. The ribs were good just not great. What was very good was the corn bread and the pie. Glad we went... More

I have been coming to this restaurant for years, and after a one year hiatus I decided to return. Sadly, the service and the food were both lacking. I had the chicken thighs plate for lunch, for $14. The sides were quite good, but the chicken, despite an excellent sauce, tasted as though it had been cooked quite a while... More

Babe's is ALWAYS a favorite when we come to the Palm Springs area. It's usually our first dinner stop; our vacations begin and end at Babe's. The pulled pork/chicken sandwich is super flavorful. My dining companion said it was the best BBQ she ever had! We also enjoyed the cornbread skillet and mango sorbet cones at the end of the... More

Charming bronze pigs everywhere coupled with great BBQ and beer. We sat on the patio and the ribs were excellent. The hot towels and sorbet after were a surprise final touch from an attentive staff. A great find in a resort town.

Lonna and I have enjoyed Babe's for years since coming to the desert. The food is very good, wait staff attentive, and the motif is pleasing to the eye. They have a outside patio and dog friendly. So all in all Babes is a winner.
