The location is at the Redding Airport and is close to were we live. We are greeted at the door and were seated quickly by the window. The view isn't as good as it was before the upgrade, but still you are able to see planes land and take off, although the best view is of Lassen. The food tasted... More

I can always count on a very good meal - each dish has a distinctive flavor, unlike some Oriental/Chinese places I have tried. This is a nice dining room with cloth tablecloths and napkins which has a upscale atmosphere; but not intimidating. I have seen many of the waitstaff before so they are good servers. The food is plentiful (I... More

Excellent chinese food. Recommend orange chicken. This is a really nice place and they do not take reservations. May have to wait on Fri and Sat nites. Trust your server they will save you $ and show u how to economically select. Dishes are huge.

Should you find yourself at the Redding airport (KRDD), Chu’s is an acceptable, if somewhat pretentious Chinese restaurant. I have met people there who were traveling through Redding and have otherwise eaten there half a dozen times. On all occasions, I found the food to be average and on a par with small Chinese restaurants everywhere in the US. It’s... More

At the Redding airport??? YES, believe it or not. As it happened, my wife flew into Redding for the first time and it was nearing dinner time. We saw the sign and decided to give it a try. We expected typical airport-level food - wow, were we surprised. The service was terrific and the food was out of this world.... More

Eating at the airport?? Ah this is not just going to the airport to eat. The food is excellant.....large portions, always fresh and wonderful. If you like good chineese or sushi.....you need to eat there. They are also great for food to go. The service staff is outstanding.

What a lovely place to enjoy a meal! The service was perfect, we were well-attended. The food was good, we ordered an appetizer for two, which was quite a meal! It was nice to look out the window and see the sights at the Redding Airport. The restaurant is on the top floor and that is a bonus!
