The sliders were delicious and also the beet salad and chicken wings. I think the outdoor patio is one of the nicest on the peninsula.

Our company had an all-employee meeting dinner at Angelica's. It was a very pleasant experience, if a bit noisy. The bartender was very attentive and skilled at mixology. The food was set up as a buffet, and worked quite well -- there was beef, chicken,...vegetables, rice and a good mixed salad. We had the entire back room to ourselves, which was quite convivialMore

They have a very nice patio and the food was very good. I had the Ahi Tuna salad and it was delicious and just the right amount. The waiter was very friendly. Good place to go for a casual lunch with friends. The patio has...a romantic look, but the not so quiet latin music playing in the background makes it more of a place to share with friends.More

Walk through the patio filled with plastic flowers and uncomfortable iron chairs and you'll get your first impression of this place. Do not use the all-gender bathrooms, as they were filled with trash and non-too clean. Toilet appeared to have been leaking. The food is...mediocre, the service intermittent, and in general, a depressing place. I suspect the draw may be bottomless margaritas for the 20-somethings.More

We have no plastic in our patio; No Iron chairs, no leaking toilets and we don't serve bottomless margaritas.

We came around 10:30 AM on Saturday morning and it wasn't too crowded a the time. We were able to get a table in the lovely patio immediately. I ordered the vegan chilaquiles and added cotija cheese and my friend ordered the waffles. All the...food was excellent. By the time we left, there was a long line outside the door.More

Went here based on the reviews our last night in Redwood City. Their menu looked pretty amazing as well. We were not disappointed. We ordered four different small plates: oysters, ceviche, clams/mussels and octopus. Each dish was delicious. Service was great. Highly recommend.

Great little find with a tranquil outdoor patio in the back - food was great and reasonably priced, friendly staff which you can tell is still getting back to their groove post-pandemic the interior could use a refresh and refocus but I’d recommend this place...to anyone visiting Redwood City - support & eat local !More

The fried calamari was hot, fresh and light. The lamb shanks were delicious, as was the duck confit with mole.

We were invited to an album release party at Angelica's. New to Redwood City, we did not know what to expect. First off, the venue is great for music. Intimate, yet great sound quality. Second, the food is good. Lots of choices. Finally, the service...is spot on. Efficient, friendly and present.More

This is the first time I've been here. It was dinner and a Big Band playing. We ended up only having appetizers, they were so good and filling, especially the brussel sprouts, they were amazing!! Their wine selection was also very nice. It was really...fun, I really enjoy such a small venue to eat and listen to great music!More

The food: certainly not “fine dining.” The problem is that the ingredients are one level under “fine” so all the dishes were decent but none particularly good. For example, the shaved Parmesan on the Caesar salad is knockoff quality, not Reggiano. All surfaces are hard...and in an open room, so it’s deafening if there are many tables occupied. Our waitress tried hard but could not conceal that the rest of the wait staff was basically trained to a “diner” level....grabbing plates in front, etc. Most disturbing: we were there MAYBE ten minutes after two other tables departed. A wait person came up and literally slammed down a stack of plates on an already set table next to us. This was an aggressive act that was accompanied by a mean look as well! So it’s either a rogue employee or someone trying to get back at a manager/owner. Well, it worked, as we won’t return.More

The restaurant has a peaceful atmosphere with attentive service and delicious food. The menu has a broad variety of dishes and great prices for the Peninsula. When the weather is nice, sit outside on their beautiful and secluded patio - what a wonderful way to...enjoy a nice lunch with friends or for business.More
