Whenever Im on the 80 and have to stop and eat, La Huaca is the place!! The best Peruvian food Ive found so far. The Aji de Gallina, chaufas, and ceviche are mouthwatering. The Chicha Morada, purple corn drink is delicious. The desserts are phenominal! Great service, easy to find, nice ambiance. Well worth the stop! Dont pass it up.

Very out of the way place. Kind of hard to find as its in a strip type mall with lots of shops all around it. This place sits in the middle between a Good Will store and another small business. I thought it was an odd place. Once you are inside you feel much more connected to the Peruvian experience.... More

My wife and I shared an excellent chicken appetizer. She had duck breast and I had lamb shank. All fantastic. While I had scrafed all the lamb off of the shank, our waiter suggested that our dog would enjoy the bone. So we brought it home. Definitely a place to which we'll return.

This is a great place for peruvian food. I love their rice and fish dishes. Cool atmosphere and very authentic. It is our go to location in Granite Bay. They are also sensitive and able to modify dishes to be gluten-free. Awesome Spot!

For people looking for something different from the usual Mexican or Asian cuisine, I highly recommend the Peruvian restaurant La Huaca. I've been there twice and both times enjoyed their well-seasoned cuisine. The seafood is wonderful and the menu is large enough that there is something for everyone. I also have really enjoyed the live music on Friday nights. The... More

I really like Peruvian food, so whenever I find a restaurant that purports to serve it, I'll always try it. This was an excellent restaurant. The menu was creative, and my entree was delicious. I got the seafood tuku tuku, which was loaded with shrimp and calamari. The yucca croquettes were the hit of the night!

My wife and I had visited this restaurant a year or so ago and were very impressed. The service and food were excellent as was the wine selection. We were in the area and decided to visit once again between the lunch and dinner hour. Same clean interior but due to the time of our visit, only 2 tables were... More

I went out to dinner last night with a friend, and neither of us had been here before. The waiter was friendly, gracious, and extremely helpful. We didn't know what to order, and there were many suggestions made. All of our questions were answered. There are many types of ceviche, which I had never tried before. It was delicious! We... More

Hidden gem with live music. Not too noisy. Medium restaurant with a bar. Great food. Vegetarian options.

This is a Peruvian cuisine restaurant that goes very close to the real food from Peru, thanks to a long time owner who knows how it is all supposed to come together. The meat was done just right, not charred and definitely not dripping moisture. You have to pay for the sides extra, but if you chose carefully, it'll be... More
