Excellent food. We have seen this place for years. Fresh. Hot. Good size plates. Veggie or meats all excellent.

My friend and I had so looked forward to eating here, we both found out that the other has always been curious about this place. Finally, we were here! Alas, upon entering Pita Kitchen for lunch, we did not feel warmly welcomed and our excitement immediately began to diminish. The entry is dark (possibly it’s lit at night?) and cold... More

I love Middle Eastern foods. Funny, Jews, Arabs, Greeks, all eat basically the same foods, especially the Jews and Arabs. I love hummus, and they make GREAT babaganoush. They also make great pastries filled with spinach, mushrooms, Probably great falafel, but I don't eat deep fried foods.

Been here about 7 or 8 times. Usually for lunch. Get the same thing every time. Usually the food is pretty authentic and tasty. The kubbeh is greasy though. Today the pita bread was hard...like it had been rehated.. we were too nice to ask for more pita until we heard the table behind us ask....guess it was an off... More

I don't know how they pass a health inspection. The place is just filthy. Food is a typical middle eastern fare, but definitely not at its best.

I came here because the reviews but by no means does it deserve a good review. . Boy, What a disappointment! The hummus tasted so bad that spit it out. The rice was not cooked all the way nor the chicken. ( there were actually raw pieces ) The whole meal was disgusting and a waste of money.

Have been here many times. The lunch special is always tasty and comes with a lot of food. The menu prices have drastically increased. The felafal sandwich is not just very costly, it has less product in the pita. This trip was disappointing. I will consider coming for the specials, not the over priced menu items. Service remains very friendly... More

This is among the top Mediterranean restaurants I have ever visited. I loved the large variety of vegetarian and vegan selections and wide variety of food including sandwiches, kababs, salads, soups, and desserts. The location in the Arden Arcade area of Sacramento is not that great. What I found unique about this restaurant was the extraordinary service. I forgot to... More
