For years Gazzolo's has served a small community of German food lovers. Unfortunately they are open only for an extended lunch. Over the years they have maintained their commitment to San Bernardino serving Quality food in a comfortable setting. If in the Banning pass area, visit George's for sandwiches and beer as well as a wide range of German groceries... More

After a morning meeting with a client, they graciously offered to treat us to lunch at this restaurant. This was an excellent place! Home-made sausages and hams, excellent German potato salad (not at all like the American Picnic dish), red cabbage, great Rouladen ... I honestly can't say enough. The food was simply terrific ... and really, really filling. The... More

My wife found this place by chance a couple of months ago and insisted I come back with her. They offer excellent German food and German beers that you don't find in most places in the U.S. The service was also excellent and they have a shop where you can buy different kinds of German-style sausages that are made on... I had first heard about this restaurant from a stellar review in our local newspaper so when we found ourselves out in San Bernardino we thought we'd try it. I'm glad we did! My son and I had different sausage plates (he had frankfurters and I had the Farmers Plate with 3 kinds of "wurst"). Service was great. Our food... More

I went here strictly for the Jägerschnitzel. I did try some sausages and a few other menu items and they were very delicious. They were out of the beer I wanted but I had no problem substituting for another ;). The restroom is a micro-closet. A must see! All in all a very good place to kick back with friends... More

It's been years since I had a German meal until I was invited to Gazzolos for lunch. There was pleanty of parking in the rear of the restaurant. As I entered the restaurant there were people having lunch. The ambiance reminded me of restaurants attached to guesthouses in Germany, it was not fancy but homey. I ordered the wienerschnize dish... I have been here a couple of times with friends. It is a combination Deli and restaurant. They make the sausages in house. Excellent German sides like red cabbage and hot German potato salad. my favorite is the Brotwurst (Aka wiesswurst) plate. Other dishes also like various snitzles and deli sandwiches.
