Great sushi. Try the Mango Unagi roll, delicious. Also love the little shark bite and the big shark bite. The jalapeño edemame with garlic is so tasty. I have been there three times in the past few months. Sevice is consistently great. Full on SAP event nights. Make a reservation. Parking can be a challenge; check the back, that is... More

Some of the best sushi in San Jose. Man I love this place. And the oysters are very fresh. Nothing ground breaking. Just well prepared food that's always fresh. What more do you need.

A bit of business and social talk in a quiet, professionally appointed restaurant. I loved the quality of the nigiri, sushi, and maki rolls. The service was prompt and not overbearing. Go here for local sushi - especially on someone else's expense account:)

Bluefin is just across the street, and I love it! Both their Sushi and non-sushi food are excellent - sometimes, you just want a bowl of chicken Katsu-don.

Had the pleasure of eating here with my son and five year old granddaughter. Hip environment with excellent service and even better food. I love a beautiful presentation almost as much as I enjoy the food. Past my expectations in both areas.

When it comes to sushi I think this is a little more on the high scale part. The food was ok but not the greatest I have had and a little on the pricey side.

Saw great reviews for this place so decided to give it a try as we love Sushi. Made a reservation on Open Table for 6:30. Got to the restaurant and was told that they did not have a table for us. We waited for approx. 1/2 hour and were finally seated. While waiting we noticed that several other people had... More

Very hip and trendy decor with a very popular bar, reservations recommended. The quality of fish used in the sushi and the range of choices are very impressive. The sushi rice itself is a little disappointing as it is under seasoned and they use so little of it. It nicely highlights the fish, but a significant part of the sushi... More

Personally hand crafted and made from unique spices and sauces with the freshest grades of sustainable fish or shellfish and served over, around or in freshly made rice. Most of our fish is served raw to preserve the true flavors while others are cooked to add variety, texture, and different flavors to the sushi. In today's world wide market place where fish can be served fresh daily - even after being caught several thousands of miles away - Bluefin's long history and relationships allow the chefs to select only the highest grades of fish available at that time. This is our true differentiation in San Jose, similar to the premium steak houses where beef is graded into 11 categories from Prime+ to Standard-. Though farm raised fish have become commonplace in our diets today, we avoid farm raised fish - which have come to be known to contain antibiotics or hormones - and in addition, specifically strive to select the best quality, locally sourced fish. For those true connoisseurs of sushi, Bluefin regularly imports unique fish from Japan selected at their peak of taste and flavor based on the season and micro-climate of the area. Enjoy and taste the difference true quality can bring to sushi.
