This was our second visit and it was much less crowded on a Sunday evening. To get here you need to look for the Mitsuwa Marketplace since it is the food court inside that houses Santouka. Since there are a few other stores in the same shopping area the place is busy and parking can be a bear. Santouka is... More

I've been meaning to try this place for years now, but hate having to drive all the way to the South Bay for ramen. Now that my BFF moved down there, I find myself down here more often. Santouka definitely lived up the hype! I ordered the spicy miso, and loved the broth! It's a bit hard to find, as... More

Not sure if it is worth the wait. But when I am traveling, I tend to take the long lines. It is long for a reason, right?

We were looking for Japanese good quality food for lunch and we came to this wonderful place, like time travel lung in Asia! The Ramen restaurant is inside the food market! There was a 20-30 mins wait, you choose your soup, there are many combinations. It was very agreeable wait, you have several choices for a great budget! The food... More

If you are hungry for ramen, Santouka Ramen is great! Santouka Ramen is usually inside of every Mitsuwa Marketplace. Good authentic ramen, quick and cheap! And you can go to grocery shopping at Mitsuwa after eating Ramen!

This is my favorite ramen place outside of Japan! They have all the typical broths (soy, miso, etc.). Be aware that busy times like lunch on the weekends can mean 1 hour wait times for food.

This is my favorite ramen place in the Bay Area! The taste is super good. Even though there is always a long time (at least 20 mins), I think it is still worthy! Highly recommend it if you like ramen!

This little ramen stand is inside the food court at Mitsuwa Market. This place is very busy at peak hours; people often line up even before the shack opens. The ramen here is very tasty, I personally would stick to the shio broth. The broth is very rich, well seasoned, and satisfying. The toppings are standard fair, nothing special, nothing... More

Completely overrated place with food and service. I came by on a Monday afternoon 2:30pm which wasn't rush hour anymore. There was no line. I ordered #81 which was spicy ramen with pork. It took about 35 min to have the food ready, seriously? First sip of the soup, decent. Then proceeded to noodle, which tasted like half-cooked instant noodle,... More

Finally had the time to check this place out. Just like everyone says-there's a long line but things move along. So glad they have some visuals of the food to help you choose. Ordered the special pork ramen. The broth is absolutely wonderful, full of robust flavor (and salt). The pork slices were thin and lean. Noodles were yummy! The... More
