My first visit to Henry's Hi-Life and definitely not my last! What I really liked about this restaurant is that it's different and unique - the interior, the people who come to eat, the servers, the food. I haven't found anything like it in San...More

Henry's Hi-Life is an iconic restaurant in San Jose, California. Very casual atmosphere, friendly ambiance, no frills, no thrills decor...and really good food. The service is friendly and efficient. It may remind you of an old bar and restaurant from the Wild, Wild West with...More

I drove there especially and out of my way just to try their excellent ribs as I've seen on Man vs Food and was not disappointed.

Went here with work colleagues. Had a lovely meal with some great choices of beers. Only down side is had to put clothes in a separate room that night as the smoke was very pungent.

I don't know what's more fun here - the excellent food - or the characters who work or eat here! All kinds of downtowners here. Been here a number of times over the years. It's really a landmark in downtown San Jose!

I have eaten there several times. The ribeye or Prime Rib are my favorites. The method of ordering after given a number might be confusing at first, but the perseverance is well worth it. I first ate there over 50 years ago. It was a...More

There is plenty of street parking if there ISN'T a game/event at the nearby SAP Arena, home of the San Jose Sharks hockey team. You might want to call ahead and check.
