the service was good. It was early so not too many people there but I really enjoyed what I ordered which was a burrito bowl.

heard about this orange sauce so i had to try it and OMG it was so good i ended up buying 3 bottles! I had a breakfast burrito after work which was really good but add some of that sauce and it’s amazing!!!
This restaurant is open at 7am for the best breakfast burritos in the biz! All three locations have the same amazing choices for breakfast burritos. Reasonably priced and worth every penny! My teachers love them when I bring them in for meetings! Large enough to...cut in half and share. Try one today! Only served until 1030am. Pepsi establishment which is a bummer but still worth the trip!More
Ordering went well but keep your receipt - they want it for pickup! I wanted to sit and enjoy conversation and wait for the food. However I couldn’t hear the numbers being called so had to kinda had to wait at counter where there were...lots of people waiting for food and disrupted some great conversation I was having. The order was correct and the food was very good. The customer service was eh...but the food was consistently good, very busy so I guess they were focused on that vs customer service. The only reason they didn’t get five stars...a smile would go a long way. But the tacos were very good.More
The food was fair. The chips were quite stale. My order was completely goofed up. One dish had to be remade 3 times as the original request was not followed. Types and quantities of drinks should be easy to fulfill but this was quite incorrect.
First off, we have been to the downtown SJ location (near SJSU) and this location. We always get carne asada burritos, so I can't review the other menu items. The burritos are good, but inconsistent. Sometimes more meat than others - sometimes you get that...doughy tortilla taste for too many bites..... but when the tortilla is filled, these burritos are great! People love their orange sauce - it's famous! I can take it or leave it, but family members like it. For those of you into drinks, they have horchata and they also have pepsi as serve yourself fountain drinks, and coke products in cans. Also serve Mexican coke in glass bottles, reminding me of taquerias in Mexico. Enjoy!More
Delicious casual dining. The orange sauce is my favorite part. I just wish I could find out what the heck is in it! The super tacos and super burritos are de-lish! While you are there, buy a bottle (or two) of the orange sauce.
Really disappointed. We came in for lunch today(Monday) and it's safe to say I will not come back. When I eat out, I expect a generous portion, food that actually tastes good/great, good service and a fair price. I didn't experience any of that today....The cashier: No personality!! I said "hello" when I started my order and nothing!! No "Thank You", No "Have a nice day," nothing and just handed me the receipt and walked away. Wow. Clearly no appreciation about my patronage at her restaurant or training on how to smile when customers are paying for their food!! The Food: We had a Super Nachos w/ chicken(nothing super about it), Super Burrito w/chicken(nothing super about it) and a Large Augua Fresca(watermelon/pineapple). The Super Nachos: At $9.95 I expect there to be a large amount of beans, guacamole, peppers, sour cream, etc.,. The nachos had chips that looked like the chips you'd get at Costco, some beans, a liquid type guacamole, their orange sauce(I liked it), some sour cream and some chicken. The worst nachos ever! What was the $9.95 for?? You have to pick up your order so why is it so pricey for nachos that don't have generous assortments of toppings/ingredients??Never again!! The Super Burrito: At $8.45, there's nothing super about it. I've had larger burritos at other places. Again, the rice, beans, chicken, sauces, cheeses, should barely be able to fold the burrito in place. Very disappointing and again nothing exceptional in taste and for sure not in fillings for the super burrito. Agua Fresca: I had the large Watermelon and Pineapple. I could taste the watermelon but not the pineapple. I had a few bits of pineapple and I could taste how sweet the sugar was. For me, I'd like less sugar so I can taste the fruit more. Just a taste preference. So, was today an off day for them?? Probably not. For what I paid, it's way over priced for taste, amount and lack of friendly service. I won't be going back ever again. There are plenty of other good Mexican Food restaurants in the area.More
I expected a restaurant and found a fast food outlet. We staryed and enjoyed a range of dishes. Make sure you use the orange sauce. It was cheap and yummy. 3 blocks from the Marriott ans the Westin. Oh, and Ben & Jerry's is opposite!!
This is a very good find! Great food (lengua, al pastor and carne asada), nice prices. If you are looking for good, REAL mexican food, stop in for a casual (filling) meal.
Just finished my lunch at La Victoria Taqueria. The place is not crowded if you are there before 12pm. Orders are taken quite quickly and probably an 8 min wait will get you your food. I ordered the Super Burrito with red sausage and marinated...meat. My drink was something made of rice and Cinnamon. When the food came, I was surprised by the delicious burrito. The serving is big and as a big guy, I could not even finish what was given to me. Oh yes, do not forget to put the cream colour hot sauce on your food. This sauce makes the food tastes good too! I am keeping 1/3 of the burrito for my consumption tonight. This is a cheap and good outlet if you want something outside your usual diet.More
I love their breakfast burritos. Either chorizo or potato. They are both great. Extended business hours opening early at 7 and closing past midnight.
One of a chain of "restaurants", La Vics is very popular with the high school and college crowd. They stay open very late (midnight on weekdays, 2am on the weekends). Their orange sauce (creamy salsa) is all the rage and available for sale in a...togo bottle. Try the California burrito which is loaded with meat, beans and French fries.More
If you live in San Jose, La Vic is probably the most well known taqueria for a reason. They have numerous meat selections that can be used in Tacos, burritos, tostadas, nachos, etc. I prefer the grilled chicken over their shredded chicken, but you can...choose! Also their orange sauce is some of the best hot sauce out there. While not extremely spicy, it packs a punch. Definitely go generous with this topping. Their tostadas are quite big. I have trouble eating 2 of them. For those with light appetites, one is enough. They come with beans, meat, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and guac. The super tacos are also quite large (and messy). If you are looking for a standard taco, then don't do the super. The super comes with beans, cheese, guac, and 2 tortillas! Downside is that it can get crowded.More
Excellent food at even better prices. My hotel was right next to this restaurant, so I made several trips. The breakfast tacos are delicious, the quesadillas are gigantic, the tostadas are huge, and the enchiladas are divine. Add in Mexican Coca-Colas with real sugar, and...this quickly became my go-to spot for a good meal.More
