Based on the name I was hoping for more of a cafe feel for breakfast and some coffee options. But it was typical hotel breakfast fare- eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. Nothing at all to make this stand out other than that the portions were a decent size. But the potatoes and eggs were in dire need of salting as there... More

My husband and I were staying at the Westin and came for happy hour (Monday to Friday 4-6pm). There are about four cocktails, four wines , three pizzas and three appetisers that are all $6 at happy hour. We had raspberry martini, red wine, calamari and a pizza with Italian sausage and mushrooms. The food was good and we had plenty... More

Dined here for lunch for a team event. Hadn't been to this restaurant in over 10 years. It hasn't changed one bit. The atmosphere is perfect for an Italian restaurant. Tables are spread out and not too close to one another. Service is excellent and the food is still as tasty as ever. The raviolis were fantastic and was a... More

Dinner on the 2nd of January 2017, and the restaurant was almost empty. The food was really good but the service was lacking. Will go back for the food and speak up when the service is lacking since the restaurant was almost empty.

I have been to this location many times over a lot of years. I think they have actually gotten better than ever now. I started with the beet salad that had two kinds of beets, arugula, roasted walnuts and asiago cheese and it was absolutely delicious. My entree was the mixed seafood with Salmon, Sea Bass, Calamari, Scallops and Prawns.... More

The restaurant is inside the Westin hotel and has an elegant dining room. We ordered a bottle of wine and had to remind the waiter twice before it was brought out after apertizers finished. One of our friends ordered a beef goulash and not until after he had finished his apertizer that he was informed the kitchen had run out... More

What a great combination. Restaurant was super busy but they never missed a beat. The caplacy ravioli is divine. And is perfect start before our walk through the park. Perfectly cooked food and great service! I guess I'm a regular now. Thanks so much for a wonderful memory.

When it first opened, we started going to Il Fornaio in the City. Great. Love the Burlingame restaurant, as well. We met friends at the San Jose site and were very pleased. Consistent in every aspect. Very attentive waitress, professional and accommodating with our various food issues- no salt, etc) I had the seafood risotto and was impressed with the... More

The food was very good....service was a bit slow....was pretty pricey when all was said and done. They were not the most accommodating when it came to splitting up the tab, but the decor is lovely and the food was good.

Thank you Virginiarosemarie! Thanks for the stars! I'm glad you enjoyed your overall experience. It looks like we need to work on a few things like speed of service and check splitting. We usually can split a check up to six times for each table, but if you call ahead of time and talk to a manager, we'd be happy... More
