An excellent place to get some Cajun food at a good price. Live music adds to the character of the place. However, it can be a bit loud if you sit in front of the band. If you need to talk, sit inside.

Everyday there are a couple of specials and they should not be missed. Yesterday they had a Crawfish Chowder that I could have eaten a gallon of it. It was like a rich bisque that left me wanting more and thinking about it all day today. The fried food is a bit heavy on the breading and takes away from... More

Very cool little place with pretty authentic food in a cool old house that appears as if it was flown here from LA. But the outdoor music scene and quality of talent had us out on the big patio with the band. I took my buddy originally from LA (no, the real LA) here and he gave it the thumbs... More

Every year around Mardi Gras, I am reminded of my trip to New Orleans, a colorful, musical and vibrant city. Great food is everywhere and thankfully there is a little slice of NOLA right here. The converted house is very inviting...like visiting friends. There are several dining areas indoors and out, and a side area with a small stage for... More

You can definitely get your fill of the south here with a jambalaya, po' boy or red beans and rice. They have done a great job of transforming an old house into a rustic restaurant.

We've been coming here for years! It had been awhile so we decided to go for lunch on Sunday. Let's be clear. This is a no frills place. The food is good and the music is great! The Music: Check the schedule for who's playing on the day you plan to go. We listened to great Blues while we ate... More

Pros: Great music! The food we ordered (Jambalaya and Crawfish pasta) was delicious. The outdoor heaters were greatly appreciated! Cons; Small parking lot. Had to park down the street in a very low lite neighborhood. Tall bar tables are great for tall people, not so much for average height people. Our chins rested on the table. Small dance floor with... Went for late lunch and wasn't impressed. Nothing terrible but nothing stood out. Average veg burger, average wings and poorly done Jambalaya. Good selection of micro beers. I'm sure the bar is good with the bands and such and other patrons spoke of the great music. Would return for the music.

Great New Orleans style. Food, drinks and music makes your day. Bring cash as you will need it if you want some drinks outside. Food is family style so get ready for big plates. Sausage bread is really good.

We were recommended to have lunch here because it was near the train station and said to be favored by some station staff. Boy, did we wish we'd gone further into town. The Po' Boy sandwich with pork was dry and tasteless. Ditto the one with turkey, which had processed meat, not the real thing. To be fair, the Cajun... More
