My niece goes to Cal Poly and this was her choice. We were all happy with our meal and the service. They have an extensive menu with some interesting items. The must stop for breakfast in downtown San Luis Obispo. It does get busy and is always a bit of a wait but worth it for the breakfast diner sit at the counter experience. They give you a substantial amount and service is great...

Whenever we take Hwy 101 from Northern Calif to Southern Calif we always stop at Louisa's for breakfast. This last time we ordered the Cinnamon roll combo (eggs, potatoes, 4 bacon, amazing cinnamon roll), Italiano omelet, and Linguica omelet. Each plate was large and delicious. This is our kind of breakfast place!
Came across Louisa's by chance this morning, people were waiting outside just to get a table. We had two breakfasts, really really good. Took a little longer to get served as they were so busy but well worth the wait. We were so impressed and would definitely recommend coming here
Busy, efficient and down-home cooking with and electric vibe! Homemade cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito is one of the best! Casual, college atmosphere...love the downtown location!!
