Great setting, easy parking, Delicious food. Everything we tasted was wonderful. This isn't a romantic place, but it is family friendly.

Beautiful outdoor seating for family gatherings. Seating not crushed together overlooking the San Mateo lagoon. Looks like you could paddle your way to dinner here. Dock down below. Pleasant service all round. Checked on our meals often for refills or add ons. Handicap accessible. Vegetarians...More

Whenever I am in the San Francisco Bay area I try to make it to the Fish Market for at least one dinner. They offer fresh seafood grilled over real mesquite fires at a reasonable price (for San Francisco). My real favorite, however, is the...More

Server was the best part of dinning here. Food overall just average. Warm spinach salad ? worst I ever had. No crab cakes available, but on the menu. No key lime pie available, but on the menu. Prawns as appetizer were plain and not note worthy....More

This is a family favorite. Something on the menu for everyone. Select either the main dining room, or The Top of the Market for fine dining, either choice, great food!

The selection of seafoods is extensive and there's even a counter just inside where one can purchase fish to prepare at home. There is also a restaurant upstairs called "Top of the Market" which is fancier with tablecloths and some specialty dishes. Both have nice...More

This place always amazes me because their food and service is nothing to write home about. Yet it does pack them in. We live near by and did not feel like cooking or dealing with penninsula fraffic on a Saturday Night. We sat at the...More

We will be visiting your area soon. We would like to know if we can bring our small well behaved dog and eat on the patio with him? Thanks.

Unless you are going with someone who is NOT a vegetarian, think you might find a better spot. I personally am a Pescetarian and love their smoked fish and calamari. Rest of family eats everything so we all get to enjoy... More

Nestled alongside a quiet lagoon, our fourth restaurant, and the first to feature the upstairs, upscale Top of the Market, has been a dining destination for bay area residents since 1982. This beautiful restaurant also features a full-service cocktail bar and lounge area, and a popular oyster bar. Patio dining is available in the summer months.
