If you're with a group, try the family-size plate of pasta (~$25) - a great big serving to share. On cool evenings they provide propane heaters on the patio, making it comfy to sit outside. The servers were friendly and helpful.

I ordered the Halibut..perfectly prepared in a light shopped tomato base. Out of this world. Tender, big portion, excellent sides. Highly recommend. Outstanding service.

State Street restaurants are not always the best. Locals don't eat here, just tourists. We were tourists looking for a fast bite after a movie. As stated in many reviews, the wait staff is friendly and welcoming. That's the good part. The part we paid for, the food, was very minus. Minestrone soup made with water and zucchini. Where is... My daughter and I ate here. The food was good. Lasagna was really tasty. My daughter's pizza was really good as well. And I have to say that the Caesar salad was one of the best I have ever had. For the location right on State Street, the price was great as well. Very good service....fast and friendly.

Arrived in Santa Barbara on Christmas day and headed to State St. Didn't want anything to formal and was hungry early, and Bucatini had a nice menu and was busy, but no wait so decided to give it a try. Had a small table inside -- and for some reason we seemed to not have a designated waiter, so service... More

Had some nice pasta here, and a quartino of red wine. Sitting outside is nice, and they have heat lamps for the cooler months.

This has become my family's "Go To" restaurant whenever we are in Santa Barbara, or anywhere nearby. Especially when we are attending the Santa Barbara Film Festival. The food is always delicious and is prepared perfectly. There is a wide variety of items on the menu, and a very nice wine list too. Several great appetizers to chose from, my... More

When in Santa Barbara don't miss Bucatini! The food is excellent and the pasta is perfect! I had the fusilli with truffle and mushroom and it was perfection: simple, balanced and so flavorlful, go there!!!
