On 2 quick visits we had good service and good food in a lively (OK, loud) atmosphere. We enjoyed a prime rib sandwich and a Phillips crab sandwich. The Margarita was not great but then I didn't order any special kind of tequila. For our...More

Located at 536 State Street, this is the oldest restaurant bar in Santa Barbara serving great food and beers. All the portions are large and delicious

A trip to Santa Barbara would not have been complete without a trip Joe's. It has and old school diner vibe with very friendly staff; the food is good and comes in very plentiful portions. The plus is the bar....the drinks pack a powerful punch.

We went there on a night when they were having a Holidays party group, and the place was far too noisy for our taste. But we enjoyed the food. Will try it again another time.

We enjoyed the food here. (It was a very long wait for the food to arrive, which seemed due to more customers than expected, resulting from many restaurants being closed due to the local fires.) The drinks are larger and stronger than what one receives...More

I checked the online menu and it doesn't look like Sweetbreads are offered. That said it may be available as a special. I'd call and ask.
